Doubts

.     .     .

"How is she?" I asked Matilda when Hide was brought to Matilda's personal room inside her office. She went to the infirmary, an hour after Hide's sudden magic spike outside the cafeteria, and ordered the nurses to bring Hide to her office. She said that it's dangerous for Hide when she wakes up, as she might have another magic spike so it's better to bring her in her office.

I'm in her office with Heart, since the others had a subject after lunch, and someone had to look after Hide in case she does something troublesome again. Luckily Heart's next class would be at 3 PM, same as mine.

Death, Fur and Fide also stayed at the infirmary since they were also hit by the magical energy but they left afterwards to go to their classes. I just hope they're not mad at Hide for what happened. We also understand why she suddenly threw an outburst earlier, it's because of that damned magic spike.

"She's going to be fine. She's going to have to rest because of that magic spike, but she'll be fine." Matilda said after she's done healing Hide's bruises.

I'm still confused as to why they're not teaching us anything that we should know about Prima Potentia. Look at what happened, even though she's teaching us how to control this, it's still hard to do it. Hide and Death's magic spikes were extremely dangerous, shouldn't they give more thought about this?

"And don't worry. You, Enoch and Wayne won't be punished because of what you did back at you PE class yesterday. Professor Shen lifted your punishments." She said and closed the door to her personal room.

Heart stayed with Hide at the room and I followed Matilda outside so I can talk to her about this magic spikes that we've been experiencing.

"Why are we getting punished? What did we even do back at our PE class?" My voice was full of confusion. First, the stares people have giving the three of us since we entered the cafeteria, then Heart told us about us, messing up the gym yesterday. Now, we're supposed to have punishments?

She sighed before sitting at her chair. "You can't remember?"

I shook my head. She grabbed a folder from her desk and read it.

"To summarize what you three did, you had a simultaneous magic spike inside the gym when you had your three way battle. Enoch controlled the emotion of everyone in the room until they're all exhausted, Wayne released bombs and clones of himself, then you summoned Agnes and slammed Wayne on the wall out of anger, and you filled the gym with magical aura that gave most of the class burns and bruises on their body." She read aloud from the folder she was holding.

What the underworlds. We did that? But how come we can't remember it? I—is that why some of my classmates in that subject had band aids on their arms and their faces? I thought they had that because they also had a duel with someone?

And how wild was our battle yesterday that it triggered a magic spike?

"We did that?"

She nodded her head. "Mh-hm."

"Then why?" I asked. My voice full of frustration and I know she heard that.

"Why what?"

"Why are you still teaching us about containing, about controlling this power we got from whatever, but we're still like this?!" I exclaimed. "What are we learning these past months that was supposed to help us with this damned magic?! Why are we still hurting other people?!"

I can't help but to have an outburst, and they had it coming! They promised me, they promised us, that they'll help us contain this damned power and help us control it so we can avoid hurting other people, but why are we still unable to get a grasp on this? Many people got hurt because of this uncontrolled power!
