Chapter 20: Surprise after Surprise

Cladded in his three piece armani suit, Aditya surfed among the crowd only to find his little sister among the flock of people, of course gaining attention of the young womans present there. He had the kind of face that will stop you in your tracks. He had got used to that, the sudden pause in a person's natural expression when they looked his way. Some were staring at him like hawks and eyeing at every perfect feature of his, be it his mesmerizing deep brown eyes, his dark brown hair, which was thick and lustrous or his chiseled well toned muscles with sharp jaw-- everything about him screamed perfection and geek god one would dream for.

Aditya wasn't bothered to even spare a look at those ladies but then his lips curled up a little when he heard some call "Mr. Geek God!", It reminded him of someone very fond to him and his lips curved up more. Instantly his mind reminded him of the purpose he had come and so keeping aside his thoughts and concentrated on searching for Swara.

Her smile faded and her eyes widened when she saw a tall figure amidst the crowd. Swara blinked her eyes multiple times to make sure if she wasn't hallucinating. Seeing her widened eyes and worried lines on her forehead he slightly shook her.

"Sanskaar-- My bhai-- You be here." Swara quickly ran a little away but then again came near him and snatching his cap he had in his hand she quickly wore it and stood a bit away from them crossing her fingers and praying that her brother shouldn't come to her place.

Sanskaar on the other hand didn't know what happened at the moment. He knew Swara had not disclosed the matter of her selling her paintings as Apsra to her family members except for Maasi and her aunt, she had told him that. He looked at the tall figure approaching closer and closer to the place where he stayed while he had only one question on his mind, what was Aditya Gagodia doing here?

Aditya on the other hand was quite exhausted. He had so many meetings from the morning and it had drained a hell out of him, even though he had more for the evening he postponed them for the next day since he knew about the art exhibition. It won't take rocket science to understand that he do keeps an eye on his sister but he doesn't express them or rather he doesn't want to.

When Swara noticed her brother walking past the place Sanskaar was standing, she sighed but it couldn't be a relief sigh when she saw him stop and walking steps back. Swara shook her head in disbelief, seems like her destiny has another plan for her. On the other hand Aditya walked backward since the painting he saw was a kind of similar and he seems to be right, It was her painting. Sanskaar watched Aditya staring at Swara's painting very keenly.

Aditya looked up and found only a boy standing with few steps away from the painting and Swara wasn't there. He looked at the painting making sure if it was hers and it was, he saw the unfinished painting when he saw her paint with so much focus at 2 AM in the lawn. He asked her to get in and Swara without a word nodded her head and walked to the backyard to wash her hands making sure her brother didn't see but when Swara went he did see the painting.

"You drew this?" Aditya asked and Sanskaar, who was left with no other choice nodded his head.

"Yes sir, I did." He spoke and Aditya gave a slight nod while his eyes wandered around to see where Swara and he saw her standing behind the people and mentally chuckled. Aditya understood the boy was her friend and guessed that she had already seen him and so made Sanskaar stand on her place, smart move!

"I would like to buy it. How much?" Now Sanskaar didn't know what to answer. How would he know the value when he himself wasn't an art person but came only because of Swara.

"Ah..how much do you think it would be?" Sanskaar was finding words to put in while rubbing his nape trying not to get himself suspicious and his thoughts broke when his mobile pinged with the message of Swara.
