The late-night plans

I knocked at her door. I refrained from barging in as she had done once today and embarrassing her further. She opened. "Yes sir, do you need something?" She asked still wearing her t-shirt and shorts. "It is five Miss Washington. If you don't remember, then I told you to be ready by five. And you were sleeping?" I asked.

"Trying to sleep, but I cannot fall asleep in a new place easily." Oh, you might be wrong Miss Washington because you had slept like a baby in my arms. "Alright, get ready we are getting out. I need to run some errands for office and you Miss Washington need to take notes. Dress in something casual." I instructed leaving her alone.

An hour later she was ready and standing in front of me. She was wearing a white dress. And had a jean jacket on. Overall, she still looks like a child. "So, where we are going to?" She asked. "You will see Miss Washington when we get there. For now, just shut your mouth and follow me."

I walked towards the valet and asked for the keys. He handed me some and I held her hand entwining our fingers surprising her. I took her towards my motorcycle. Yes, I had made sure this one was here beforehand. "You borrowed this?" She asked as I helped her up. "Close querida, I own it. It was here before I left, custom made. My adoptive father and I share a common love for this, and we made it together." I told her. I never told this to anyone, not even Ezra and Adam and they were my brothers.

"Must be fun then," She commented. "It was fun, I admit. It is only way he knew how to connect with me Violet." See it had always been easier to talk to her. Easier than anyone else. After one and half hour drive, we reached our destination. A little diner we used to come to in our high school years.

"This is your errand?" She asked. "yes and no Miss Washington. This is the place of my childhood, After I was adopted from my foster parents, this is where I had spent most my time with my friends. They serve good sea food. Come, on it is still not very late then I will show you another place." She smiled and followed me.

"Another serving Violet?" I asked. So far so good, she is eating well now. "No, I am full thank you, that was delicious." She said "I know, I always had loved this here. But our night is not done yet. You must see our usual hangout spot." I told her. "Ok" She agreed. I settled the bill and asked for some camping gear. It was good that they have that stuff in stock.

"Come on" I said and hauled her up on the Motorcycle. I drove towards the beach, to the remote corner hidden by natural rock formation. I like my privacy. I always had. I parked the motorcycle and she got down. "This? ""It was our secret hangout spot" I told her. "You mean to say, your secret make-out spot?" She asked. "You can say that. I won't deny that I had many girlfriends Miss Washington" "So you were a playboy" She deadpanned. "Yes, I was I am not going to lie, back then it was all fun and games. And I broke hearts without thinking what I am doing." I told her while I sat the camp.

"what are we going to do with that?" She asked. "easy we are staying out tonight. I thought I might revive some of the memories of my teenage years." She nodded helping me in lighting fire, "What else you did?" She asked excited in my life suddenly. "Many may things Miss Washington. I and my group were the rulers of my school. Everyone wanted to be with us. But we were pretty close-knit group."

I never told so much about me to anyone. "In here we used to play a game, truth or dare. And we betted, we made out and here is where I had lost my virginity." I took out some vodka and shot glasses. "How was it? Your first time?" She asked. "Just like the first time, I was young, and I was drunk. I don't remember much. Just that she was one hot smoking girl. A junior whom my friends dared to make out with me. And then the things escalated. We drank and then I took her into my tent to make out. That turned into more."

Why is she interested? "I bet you would have remembered your first time Violet, don't you?" I asked. She didn't reply. So, I dropped the topic altogether. "Alright since we are here, how about we play a game?" She turned around and her green eyes twinkled. "What kind of game?" She asked. "It is called never had I ever. I will tell a sentence what I never did and if you did that you will drink a sip. And I will take off one article of my clothing."

"I never thought it was included in the rules." She said. "This was how we played it, A game is never any fun without wedger Miss Washington, so are you up for it. I promise I will keep my hands in check." I chuckled. She smiled too, now that is what I wished to see. And that sentence came out effortlessly.

"Alright I never ever had drunken sex" She said. "Oh, easy one, many, many times Violet. Take the next one off." I told her she smiled and took off her jacket. "Your turn" She said. "Ok, I never ever had gone for go- cart racing" I said. I never had gone because my mom thought it was dangerous and I might hurt myself. "Champion when I was twelve" Wow this girl is something else. Currently I am down to my jean and she still managed to keep her clothes on. It is just thirty minutes in game.

I stood up and took my jeans off and she averted her gaze. I sat down again. "I have an idea, want to go for a swim?" She looked at me surprised. "It is ten in night." She said, "That's the fun Miss Washington, no one would be here to see you. You can do whatever you want to. "I told her. "You would be here" "And I am not going to judge if you don't. I mean we had done things here as friends were Violet. Let's just be friends like this until we have to become boss and employee once again."

She was hesitant again. "Here wear this and come in the water will feel nice I promise." I told her giving her my t-shirt and then I made a run for the ocean. I felt free as the water touched my body. The water was warm and soothing. It had all my memories locked in. I had told her the half-truth. Yes, I was drunk, but I still remember her, how could I not she was my first. I remember everything about that night. I remember her words; I remember her smile and I remember her cries.

How could I not she was my first? My first kiss and my first love, my first in everything. I still feel the pain when she left the next day. Breaking me into pieces. And then I found Rosa. It was undeniable, but again she wasn't supposed to be mine. She was always and forever belonged to my brother.

Me? I always had a bad habit of wanting something that cannot be mine. And that bad habit had landed me in trouble many, many times. "Is this alright?" I turned around to see Violet in my t-shirt. "yes, quite fine querida." I told her. I held my hand out for her to take. This time she didn't hesitated thankfully.

I carefully led her into the water. "It is warm." She commented. "Yes, it is warm. I told you I have done this before." I told her. "I know, but it is my first time" She shivered as the cold gust of wind swept past her. I pulled her closer. "Better?" I asked. She nodded. "Now you can cross this off from the things you had never done before." I told her and she smiled.
