Chapter 2: I'm here for you🌊

Everyone watched on as Sokka left, crying, "Let's give him some space," Katara said as Zuko was gonna go after him. 

They all sat there eating and trying to have a good time but all that was on everyone's mind was Sokka, "Well guys, I'm gonna go back to the room because this is getting boring. I'll see you all there," Toph said getting up and leaving.

Toph walked back up to the room and heard music coming from down the hall, she obviously knew it was Sokka. She decided to go check it out since she is his best friend after all.

"Hey, meathead, you okay?" "Go away Toph," Sokka muffled as his face was buried in his pillow, Toph went over and turned the music down, "Cmon, Sokka, please talk," Sokka immediately got up, "Did you just call me Sokka," he looked at her more confused than ever, "So now I got your attention, What happened?" she acted as she didn't know.

"Yue broke up with me because she's moving back up North," Sokka said as he cried on Toph's shoulder, Toph didn't know what to do so she just let it happen. The two sat there until Sokka felt Toph was asleep so he laid her on his bed and was tired too so he laid next to her. 

Aang and Zuko went back to there room and as they opened the door they saw Toph and Sokka laying next to each other, Aang took out his phone and took a picture and sent it to the girls, "OMG, girls, you have to see this," Katara said as she showed them the photo, "We'll what are we doing just sitting here, Let's go!" 

Suki said as the girl's footsteps could be heard from down the hall, "Okay be very quiet okay," Zuko said as he let them in, "Awwwwww," the girls all cooed at what they saw, all of a sudden Toph and Sokka woke up from them being too loud, the two saw their friends there and then looked at each other, Toph jumped and then ran out of the room blushing as the girls were behind her cooing.

"So, you and Toph, aye," Zuko said as he sat on his bed, "No Zuko, Toph and I aren't a thing did you forget me and Yue broke up," He said staring at him, "She's my best friend," Sokka stated before getting out, "What you say Sokka," Zuko and Aang snickered in the corner.

"So, You and my brother," Katara said as she nudged at Toph's side, "pfft, as if me and your brother," Toph laughed, "Your funny Katara," Toph said as she entered the bathroom to get ready for dinner.

Dinner was like nothing even happened everyone talked and chatted about things and everyone was laughing like crazy, "Hey, Toph can I Talk to you," Sokka whispered as he got up and went with her to "go get ice cream'. 

"I'm really sorry for what happened back at the room," Sokka said with an awkward smile on his face, "It's okay snozzle," she said. As they turned back she placed a hand on his shoulder, "I'm here for you if you need anything," she gave a soft smile.

Sokka felt his heart flutter as he watched her walk over to the others, She's just a friend. My best friend. 

But was she always that to him.
