"i'm so sorry" she blurts out "i shouldn't have said what i said. i wasn't...i don't want to lose you." tears start to flow down her cheeks and i feel my own eyes getting wet. "Isla...do you really think i wanted to kill myself?" i think about it and then shake my head. she raises one eyebrow. "ok maybe i did but it's because...when you love someone you'd do anything for them, even die and i...didn't. i could've saved him. but i didn't. i don't know why. i just...i couldn't move" "Nae" isla holds me by the shoulders "you. need. to. understand. this. was. not. your. fault." she emphasises each word with a shake to my shoulders. "hey, i'm taking meds aren't i?" i say soberly. "what about beds? i'm pretty sure someone is warming yours nowadays" i choke. "wh-what?" my twin really knows how to change the entire mood of a conversation "that cute pretty eyes boy...what was his name?" she snaps her fingers "edward...ennis..enzo...erick!" she smirks at me. "Is, we met like five minutes ago" "okay okay. we'll see" she smirks and plonks her ass down on my couch. yep. she's back. "so...let's watch ELITE" she says and my phone pings with another text from erick. shocker.

"OOH!" Isla has crept up behind me to be a Nosy Nellie and read my texts. her exclamation makes me jump about 3 feet into the air. "asshole" i throw the pillow at her "now you're going to cook" she groans but dances to the kitchen whilst singing a terrible rendition of Black Magic. "Little Mix are not losing any awards to get anytime soon" i mutter "i heard that!" she says i roll my eyes but a smile is fixated permanently on my face as i spend a night with my twin, probably the first ever since the incident.
