i listen to Naomis words very carefully. what a horrible thing to go through.
"i'm so-" i say and she stops me
"don't say sorry. don't fucking say you're sorry. i'm fucking sick of hearing the word sorry when i'm to blame" a tear rolls down her cheek.
"you...." i've seen this before. the self-blame, everything.
"i what? say it." she snaps.
"i think you should go to therapy" i say after a minute
"you're right" she says.
i nod and just drive her to her house since the mood is ruined.
"thank you for listening" she mutters and walks fast
i just stare after her. why does she blame herself? doesn't she see what a sweet fragile creature she is?
one things for sure, i am going to protect her from all the darkness surrounding her. i want to be her anchor.
