"Lisa... did you do all of this?"

Chaeyoung walked ahead of her girlfriend, admiring the scene Lisa had put so much time and effort into thinking and preparing. The soft fairy lights wrapped around the wooden pillars illuminating her face in a way that exposed her most delicate features.

She spun around to face the other girl, who was watching her with nothing but pure love in her eyes. Lisa nodded and grinned, taking a few steps forward so she could place her hands on either inside of her girlfriends waist.

Chaeyoung hummed softly and wrapped her arms around Lisa's shoulders, the two in a perfect embrace. "Thank you..."

"Happy Birthday baby". Lisa whispered in her lovers ear, her voice soft and quiet.

When the two pulled away from one another Lisa looked around and admired her own work. The cozy scene she had set up on the pairs favourite balcony/pier at their favourite park. Soft, gold fairy lights wrapped around the wooden pillars, handles and railings, illuminating the whole scene. A bunch of pillows and a few blankets had been laid out over a picnic rug, along with some of Chaeyoung's favourite movie snacks. Lisa made sure to do everything right to make this night special.

Chaeng had her actual party last night, where she had invited her family and friends over to celebrate. I mean, her 18th birthday was a pretty big deal to her. But, Lisa wanted to also do something in private, something just for the two of them. So, she suggested that Chaeyoung have her party last night, so tonight, on her actual birthday, Lisa would have her all to herself.

Lisa squeezed Chaeyoungs hand before digging into her own pocket, searching for the small item she had placed in there earlier. Her fingers closed around the little pendant carefully, pulling it out by the chain so gentle as if it might break. The little silver chain was small and delicate, a perfectly sculpted purple amethyst crystal dangling off of the end.

A grin swept across Chaeyoung's face upon seeing the birthday gift that Lisa had bought for her. She could tell from all of the little details and the fact that it was her birthstone in the necklace that Lisa had chosen it very carefully and put a lot of thought into it.

The youngest girl looked proud of herself. Like a child waiting for her parent to accept her gift. She was cute. Chaeyoung couldn't help but giggle at the toothy smile plastered across her girlfriends face.

"Do you like it?" Lisa questions, her tone high.

Chaeyoung could only respond my leaning forwards and pressing their lips together, melting into Lisa's arms.

"Come, sit". Lisa lowered herself down onto the bunch of pillows, pulling her girlfriend down into her arms immediately after. The quiet buzzing of bugs and the sound of the water from the lake slightly clapping at the edges of the pier calmed Lisa, allowing her to relax with the love of her life in her arms.

Lisa had thought of many things she wanted to do for today that would make Chaeyoung happy. But it came to her one night, remembering how they had a stargazing date back when they were 16 and how the pair had spent hours on the roof of Chaeyoung's house, pointing and whispering. One of Lisa's fondest memories. So, tonight she decided star gazing and cuddling in one of their favourite spots was special.

Honestly, neither girl was focused on the sky, instead their minds wandering and coming to a halt thinking about each other. Lisa had never been one to understand or express the emotions she felt clearly. But with Chaeyoung, Lisa knew exactly how she felt. She was in love. So deeply in love she could never have imagined feeling this way about another.

"Do you know how much I love you?" She whispered, bowing her head so she could nuzzle into the Korean girls neck, feeling the silky skin against her lips.

Chaeyoung just hummed, leaning her head backwards into her girlfriend, threading their fingers together and looking up at the stars, thinking about how she was the luckiest girl on the planet.
