🕊

After Lisa had been waiting for around four minutes since she had knocked on her best friends door, Jennie pulled it open. Her hair a little messy at the back, her lips swollen and her shirt buttoned up wonky.

Of course Lisa felt bad because she knew what she was interrupting as soon as she saw her best friends appearance, but she needed help. She hadn't wanted to be an inconvenience to anyone, so she hadn't asked anyone to help her with her current situation, but even she couldn't deny anymore that she needed it desperately.

"Lisa? What's wrong?" Jennie's face was filled with worry, she knew that if Lisa was knocking on her door at 11.30 pm barefoot and with barely any warm clothing that something wasn't right. Considering Lisa's mental health right now, Jennie didn't know what to expect to come out of Lisa's mouth.

She was wearing Chae's flannel shirt, Jennie recognised it because when she was here Chae wore it constantly.

"Can you help me?" Lisa's voice was small as she stops in the middle of the living room and turning to face Jennie.

"Of course baby, what do you need?" The Korean girl motions for Lisa to sit down before calling out to her fiancé in the other room.

Jisoo appeared almost instantly, wearing a large t shirt and mismatched shorts, her lips also swollen and a few visible scratches on the back of her neck and Lisa immediately knew was Jennie's doing. "Oh... Hey Lis!" Jisoo looked at Lisa with a look of confusion and concern, clearly surprised to see the younger girl and realising that she is still wearing the same clothes she was wearing when Jisoo went over to visit the day before.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt. I-"

"No" Jisoo cuts her off, taking a seat on the couch across from her, Jennie copying her fiancé's action. "Don't be sorry. What's wrong?"

Lisa hangs her head, trying to find a way to say to say what she wanted to without sounding like she could break at any moment. "I know that I've been ignorant and I haven't been a good person lately" she begins, her voice breaking slightly. "But I need help. I'm not dealing with this right."

"Lisa..." Jennie sighs, running her fingers through her hair and leaning forward so she can grab ahold of Lisa's delicate fingers. A small shock going through her body when she feels how cold Lisa's hands are. "There is no set way or right way to deal with something like this. It's a huge thing, and it's going to affect you."

Lisa sniffles, wiping her nose on the back of her sleeve. "I know. But the way I am right now, she wouldn't be happy with me, and I want to make her happy." She knew she was asking a lot, but she also knew that she had made up her mind and was sure of it.

The two Korean girls exchange glances, their eyes sparkling with both happiness and thankfulness. Thankful because their best friend finally gave them a reason to believe that she was going to be okay.

"I have an idea" Jisoo pipes up, sitting up a little straighter when the other two girls turned their heads to face her. "You should go somewhere where you guys often went together. Go and enjoy it, remember the things you did and what you two had for each other. While you're there you should be thinking about the good in her, what a bright light she was in your life and what kind of person she was. Don't think about the fact that she's gone."

Lisa felt a smile creeping onto her lips. She knew exactly where she was going.

"Think about what she would want you to do. She would want you to be happy. To keep her memory alive, Lis."
