"He does?" I asked him.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because they have reached a status that's not easy to reach." Abdul said.
"And how does one reach that status?" I asked him.
"By doing superogatory acts of worship, like extra prayer, fasting, and the like."
"Oh, I can do that." Jason said out loud.
Abdul smiled and clasped his hands together.
"You can and you will. You're probably already one and you don't know it."
An image of Joe appeared in Jason's head, he busted out in laughter.
"Why you laughing?" Abdul asked him.
Jason was still laughing, after about half a minute he stopped.
"Yo do you know Joe?" Jason asked.
"The Jamaican Joe?"
Jason nodded his head while looking at Abdul.
"Yeah I know him." Abdul said.
"Why do he be getting scared and be complimenting you when you are bought up in conversation?" I asked.
Abdul cackled in laughter. "Joe my manz."
"He a funny dude, but he said that I look like the bul Omar Epps off Love and Basketball." Abdul said.
Abdul busted out in laughter again. "YOO YOU DO LOOK LIKE HIM BRO!" I said while still laughing.
Abdul didn't say anything, he just looked at Jason with a straight face. Once Jason saw the look that he was giving him he immediately stopped laughing.
"So tell me more about Islam." Jason said.
"What would you like to know?" Abdul asked.
"What is it?"
"Simple, Islam is the correct Religion that everybody should follow."

My first block teacher is Mr. Macmillan, for creative writing. My second block teacher is Mr. Moretta, for English I. And then I have Lunch for third block. My fourth block teacher is Ms. Sisko, for Social Studies, And then for my final block I have Mrs. Adkins, for Earth Science. They were all general courses. I didn't have any high AP classes like Christy. Maybe next semester, if I perform really well in my classes then I will get AP courses. For Christy, whether she performs well or really poor she will still get AP courses next semester, and she would also get to leave early, just like last year.
They gave us some schoo work to do over the long summer break. I didn't do them, I asked Christy to do them for me but she refused.
"I'm just going to tell them I lost it at Dorney Park or the zoo or something, They gon' just give me another one, and like two weeks to do them during the school year."
I liked it better that way, I work better and more efficiently under pressure
Today is the day before school, the first day is tomorrow. I'm amped up and ready.
