I finally got up off the pavement in the parking lot then went in the school and walked through the front entrance door into my first block class, "Mr. Macmillan" for Creative Writing.
The halls were flooded with teenagers as they rushed to their classes. Jerry and Joe were still laying down on the pavement floor in the parking lot. I tried to tell them to get up so that they can get to class but they were looking in the clouds searching for the UFO.
"Good Morning everyone!" Said Mr. Macmillan as we all sat down.
"Please find a seat and sit down."
I did just that, I sat in the front row, I always sit in the front row.
"For those of you who don't know me, I am Mr. Macmillan, but you can just call me Mr. Mac for short. I will be your instructor this semester for first block Creative Writing."
"TAKE OFF THE WIG!" yelled someone from the back row.
"Thank you Justin, but it's not a wig. Please raise your hand next time you would like to speak, thank you very much."
"Well if it's not a wig than what is it?" Justin asked.
"It's my hair young man, thank you Justin. Now as I was saying. You can simply call me.."
"It looks like a dirty mop." Justin said. The whole class erupted in laughter.
Mr. Mac didn't say anything back. He took off his glasses and sat down on his desk.
"Alright, now since this is the first day, I would like to know a little about you, considering that you will be my students for the remainder of this semester. Tell me two things about yourself and what you wish to accomplish this year."
"We'll start with the front row, please..." Mr. Mac said as he pointed to a girl in the front row.
Her name was Samantha. She is medium height, long ponytail with blonde hair. She told me once that she liked me, and I liked her back... I think. I wanted to go out with her but ever since me and Christy started dating she's been ignoring me.
"Hi, my name is Samantha. I love to go out with friends and have fun. I also like reading and watching TV. This is my first year as a freshman, I really want it to be special..." Samantha said and gave me a quick glance.
"I have three brothers and sisters, I'm the youngest. And... yeah." Samantha said and sat down.
"Thank you very much Samantha." Said Mr. Mac. Then he waved his hand for the next person to stand up and introduce themselves.
"Hi, my name is Steve. I like to uhh... Skate, watch TV." Steve said and then sat down.
Justin began laughing along with a few other students in the class.
"That's not enough Steven, please tell us what you would like to accomplish this year." Mr. Mac said.
Steve remained seated. "I just wanna pass." He calmly said.
"Ik that's right Steve!" Justin said and began to clap.
"Okay, thank you very much young man." Mr. Mac said and waved for the next student to stand up and introduce themself.
A couple of other students in the first row stood up until it was my turn, my head was laid down. I was starting to develop a slight headache and it felt like the entire room was spinning. The girl sitting next to me nudged me in the ribs with her elbows to wake me up.
"OUCH!" I said out loud.
"It's your turn." She said.
I immediately jumped up and stood on top of the chair on my desk.
