BNHA Quirk Switches

In the chaos, Todoroki manages to hoist Mina over the wall. She lands in some nearby bushes outside the school. Her and Hagakure make sure to regroup. Neither making a sound, knowing that villains could easily be lurking out here as well. They convene in some brush, keeping their heads low. Hagakure ignores the lingering pain shooting through her ankle.

Todoroki offers to lift Kendo up since she's nearest to him and injured. Her arm hangs limply at her side with blood trickling onto the grass. She takes two steps back as Toga lurches for the second time. He wraps his tongue around Kendo's waist but Toga intercepts the attempted rescue with a slash. The cold metal runs across his tongue and he draws it back into his mouth. Blood trails down his chin. 

Their only way of escape has been demolished as soon as it started. At least Mina made it across with the still hurt Hagakure. The two will be able to get help from somewhere at the very least. Chaos can only reign supreme for so long before light manages to catch up. To the rest of the group still trapped inside the confines of UA, Mina and Hagakure are the light. They're willing to go through thick and thin to rescue not only their friends in the school but everyone else including the teachers. 

The group's only option is to retreat back to the school building and hope that the two girls can make it out to get help. Dabi makes this easier said than done. There's little they can do with Todoroki's damaged tongue and a cut Kendo. Toga has this smile across her face that depicts pure evil and a disregard for human life. Dabi shares a similar expression. There's no way the students can fight them. The rest of their energy was going to be used to escape but now that's far out of the window. 

How would they escape? Is all that runs through their minds. The back door could still be used but it would be near impossible to get there without anyone being attacked. There's nowhere to turn. 

"Scared little wannabe heroes have nowhere to turn to." Dabi makes a fist towards them. 

"They'll come back for us with pro heroes who'll end this whole attack," Kendo says, sticking close to Tokoyami. 

Dabi and Toga both laugh. Running away from them seems harder and harder. Could they really rely on Hagakure and Mina to get help from the outside? No one knows what's happening out there, meaning anything can be going on. The villains have this attack planned perfectly. The Switch was their most vulnerable time of this year. A perfect time for a planned attack. They should have seen it coming sooner but it's too late to think about what's already happened. 

The group is taking small steps back as inconspicuously as possible. Neither of the villains seems to notice, much too infatuated with their prey. All of the young heroes in training glance at each other. Would it be best to run now? Could they get away from who was chasing them? Their energy is waning more and more.  

Though there's nothing else to do. Nowhere else to go. 

They start running. 

Toga and Dabi trailing close behind. They're all following Todoroki who doesn't know exactly where he's going but he understands that it has to be far far away from here. Despite their predicament, everyone's minds are still glued to Hagakure and Mina. All they can think about is their lowering chance of survival as time goes on. 

This chapter also felt blah to me but at least I got it done. I didn't think I'd make it to 600 words today but I proved myself wrong. 620 awesome points because you deserve it.
