The others realize that the presence of Mina has disappeared. They catch on to her plan to attack Toga from behind. There's a chance she can do this before Dabi makes his grand appearance. When he gets there the tides really will change. There isn't a doubt in anyone's mind about that. Just because his quirks been swapped with someone else's, the way Hagakure described his ruthlessness when he attacked her is enough for them to believe he's the same brutal person. The quirk switch doesn't change someone's personality in any way.

"You're sure none of you want to attack?" Toga asks, forcing Deku to walk in front of her. She believes she has the upper hand but they know Mina is the one with all of the power. Toga is too distracted by her taunts to the others to realize what's about to go down.

Mina raises her arm and with her elbow smacks her in the face. Toga stumbles from the impact before collapsing onto the ground with a hard thud. The distraction leaves her brain too fried to keep Deku under her control. She curses breath at Mina's attempt to disable her. Mina takes the opportunity to guide Deku away from the chaos. The other's take the hint and scramble after her with a disheveled Toga lagging close behind.

She screams insults at them, hoping for some type of response. The group stays silent knowing what'll happen if they speak to her. Without Deku being under her control they can easily take her but it's not the best idea after taking into account the amount of exhaustion they're still experiencing. Running on its own is taking a toll on their bodies that grows bigger and bigger with each stride.

The gate looms into view the farther they run. They'd thought about going through the front gate but now they see that's no longer an option. It's blocked not only by massive piles of rubble caused by previous fights but a bloodthirsty Dabi with curled fingers. Hagakure's speed slows as she stares at him, fear welling up inside her chest, threatening to spill over. Kendo is the one to keep her from lagging too far behind.

He cracks a crooked half smile and his knuckles. The group makes a quick change of plans racing to the wall. Toga and Dabi advance slower than usual. Both of them certain that they have the upper hand.

The wall seems like Mount Everest to the group. The statement feels truer with the predominate emanation of evil coming from the villains.
