BNHA Quirk Switches

-nineteen-

The four crash into Recovery Girl's office. Deku was getting worried about where and what Todoroki was doing. The road to the office was getting harder and harder to reach without sobbing. The two aren't incredibly close but they're still classmates and care about one another. Mina pulls open the door and standing next to a bed is Todoroki. The amount of relief that floods the room is one that can almost not be described. Deku has to hold himself back from hugging his mentally cold classmate. Todoroki looks back at him Tokoyami, Mina, and Kendo. 

"We've been looking everywhere for you," Deku says closing the door behind them. 

"I don't understand why you're acting so distressed. I wasn't gone that long. Was I?"

The four of them look at each other. In retrospect, he wasn't gone that long but to them, it didn't feel as though they were being overdramatic. He was their friend and they wanted to make sure he was okay in a stressful time like this one. People were getting hurt and Deku just wanted to make sure Todoroki wasn't one of them. The young heroes in training only notice now that Momo is the one in the bed Todoroki's above. 

She greets them like there's nothing out of the ordinary inside or outside the recovery room. Hagakure calms their worries by telling them she only sprained her ankle very badly. Recovery Girl wasn't able to fix it already since there were more pressing injuries from the attack. Hagakure doesn't mind though. She knows that her injury isn't as bad as others and that she can wait. Mina asks how she even sprained her ankle. 

"Dabi got Shigaraki's quirk and chased me through the woods. Todoroki saved me at the last minute. I couldn't' be more thankful."

Todoroki flushes pink as he blushes and turns away from her. He wasn't the easiest to give compliments to since he didn't get them that often. It stemmed from his parent's lack of praise. It's something he needs to get used to but it'll take a long time to achieve it. 

"I'd suggest we leave school grounds but with Hagakure's sprained ankle I doubt we'd get far," Deku says, motioning to Hagakure's swollen and bruised ankle. 

"That might be our only option with how things are going." Tokoyami chimes in. 

"I don't want to slow any of you down," Hagakure says, sitting up in the bed. 

"You don't leave friends behind no matter the cost. I know we don't know each other very well but you seem like a kind hearted person that deserves a chance to live as much as anyone."

The other's not their heads in agreement. They weren't going to leave anyone behind today not under any circumstances. 

Sorry for the shorter chapter. I just wasn't' feelinggggg it. You can totally be disappointed in me. 720 awesome points to make up for that and that I didn't awesome points in the other chapters. Jeez, my memory is worse than the plot of this. It's so CHAOTIC. I'm scared. Any who's its. Have a nice weekend. See you Tuesday.
