I finally Took it along myself to make a cover, which, looks pretty crappy to me, but... whatever.
SOPHIE POV
I sped away from the elves, channeling all the strength I could into my legs. Then, I ran very quickly in the general direction of Owl and Caz. As I ran, I tracked their thoughts. When I found them, their thoughts were telling me that they were to the right of me and could see me running. I turned right, and looked for a while. But they weren't there. I checked again. That's still what their thoughts were on. But, I still couldn't find them! It's probably because they know every technique that I use.
OWL + CAZ POV {area}
Owl and Caz were thinking of to the right of Sophie, when they were actually to the left so she thought they were going right. Caz and Owl high fived. They had outrun SOPHIE FREAKING FOSTER! They were both amazed. Right now they were hiding in a semi-empty alleyway behind many large buildings. "So... I suppose we should go back to the elves. But... how the crap did we run so fast!?" Caz whisper-shouted. Owl whispered-shouted back, "I... just pushed energy into my legs, and remembered why we were running!"
Caz nodded. That was exactly what she had felt too.
Meanwhile, at the park with the elves...
General POV
Bronte was mad. And shocked- like, very shocked. When Owl and Caz ran off, all the elves agreed that they had run awfully fast. Even Sophie had come back, flustered and sweaty, empty handed. When That Boy had asked why she couldn't find them, she replied, panting, "I tracked their thoughts. They were telling me to go left, so I did. I looked long and hard, but I couldn't find them! I even checked twice, and this was what their thoughts were focused on." Fitz jumped in, "Well, they apparently know EVERYTHING about us. Wouldn't they know to think about where they weren't at so you would get confused?" Sophie groaned. They were ten-year-old book lovers. Of course they would!
Wow. Another chapter. Yay. Ok. Bye. Does anyone know if Caz is a real person or not yet? ;)
