Lace sits in AP art, wondering what to draw for the project. When she figures out that she wants to draw a landscape she goes to the paper rack and finds a medium size of the paper, pulling up a picture of her chosen destination.
"What are you gonna draw Lace?" Bee asks while painting an album cover.
"I'm drawing Vienna. Anyways, why didn't you tell me about Val?" Lace questioned Bee, looking up to see her reaction.
"I knew that you didn't like him and I didn't want you to judge me" Bee explains to Lace who looks flabbergasted.
"Honeybear, I wouldn't judge you. I think that both of you fit together perfectly" Lace lies through her teeth, not wanting to hurt her feelings.
"Really? Thank you so much!" Bee squeals hugging Lace and then turning to her,
"So.. you and Jonah?" She wags her eyebrows up and down suggestively as Lace flushes pink.
"No, Jonah and I are just really good friends" Lace signs while scrolling through her phone, checking to see if Jonah texted her about lunch, and to her surprise he didn't.
"Did lover boy text you for lunch?" Bee tries to snatch Lace's phone as Lace smacks her hand.
"Ow! What was that for?" Bee wonders with a pout.
"For going through my phone" Lace signs with her eyebrows raised. When the bell rings and Lace goes to her locker she sees Jonah.
"Hey, pretty girl. Wanna go out to lunch with me? We can eat wherever you want, ok?" Jonah tells the young girl who nods in agreement.
At Lace's restaurant of choice, Jonah pops the big question.
"Um, Lace... I was wondering if you could come to the party today with me? I would pick you up and drop you off and all you would have to do is stay by my side at all times." Jonah plays with his fingers and Lace is stunned. Jonah never brings girls to his parties nevermind the biggest one of the year.
"Would I have to dress up special?" Lace asks, knowing well that everyone who gets invited has to dress up specially.
"Nope princess, just dress up as you would on a normal day," Jonah says booping Lace's nose after every word.
"So, are you coming," Jonah asks Lace who responds with,
"Yes."
