"Don't have to share with no one else
Don't keep your secrets to yourself"
Lace stares at the ceiling of her room, too lazy to actually get up, but not sleepy enough to fall asleep. Lace inwardly groans and shifts her position and her head ends up on the floor as she still stares up at the tiles. Lace slowly gets up from her bed and walks to the bathroom, only bothering to brush her teeth. She spots Daliah at the door and questions her,
"Where are you going maman?"
"I have to go to work on a case. I'll be back in 2 days okay? There's money in the Cookie Jar. Take care, Lace." Daliah walks out of the house leaving Lace stunned. Lace nods her head, coping, and walks to the fridge grabbing watermelon, sitting down, and eating her breakfast as she gets a text.
From: Bee
Hey! Meet me at the diner today? I have important news.
To: Bee
Sure. You're lucky I love you. What time?
From: Bee
In thirty minutes
To: Bee
Well crap. See you there.
Lace stands up from the couch and puts her dish in the sink, groaning mentally at the thought of having to look presentable. She walks upstairs and grabs a pair of shorts and a sweater, changing into both. Lace grabs a small bag and puts her phone, wallet, and keys into it. She slips out the front door and skips to the diner. As she walks in she hears Bee call her,
"Lace, Over here!"She sees that Lace is sitting alone and slides into the booth.
"Where's your brother?" Lace signs as she calls over the waitress, ordering her milkshake as usual.
"I came here with someone else petite" Bee smiles as Val slides in and pecks her lips.
"Hey honey, Hey sugardoll. Whatcha doing here" Val smirks seeing Lace's jaw drop.
"Hun, I invited her to come here and I wanted to break the news that we are dating," Bee explains as Val nods.
"What! Honeybear, when did you meet him?" Lace questions as Bee mutters,
"Three days ago."
"BEE!"
