Flower Petals

Prompt: Hanahaki Disease

Situation: The boys are playing VR before Eddie begins to cough.

Word Count: 167

Eddie was playing VR with the boys until he began to cough. He felt something build in his throat.

"Woah, Eddie's got corona!" Mully shouted.

"Kill 'em!" Juicy began to shoot aimlessly.

Eddie put his hands up, "I don't have fucking corona! It's probably just allergies."

They shrugged it off and continued to joke around. Narrator said something funny causing everyone to laugh. Eddie began to choke on something. He spit the object in his hands, but couldn't see it because of the headset.

"You good, Eddie?" Josh asked.

"I'm fine; just give me a minute, pendejos."

Narrator spoke as Eddie took off his headset, "Take your time, Eddie! Don't want our favorite mexican dying on us. Te amo!"

"Thanks, and, uh, te amo." Eddie smiled into his mic before walking into the bathroom. He threw up in the toilet. He looked down to see petals then back to his hand to see the small flower petal. Fuck, why did Narrator have to do this to him?
