warning: throwing up

-----

It was the first performance of Black Swan. The members were dressed in all black outfits and they were barefoot. They were on The Late Late Show with James Corden and if Hoseok had to be honest, he wished that he wasn't on the show. He was really exhausted in general.

The fans were sitting out in front. He could hear their cheering as he readied himself for the performance.

The dance was difficult. He had to working extra hard to make sure he didn't make any silly mistakes. The others were as nervous as him.

Black Swan was Jimin's song. He was made for the choreography. At the back of his mind, Hoseok knew that he would never be able to dance this as well as the mochi did. It made him feel like he didn't deserve the position of "main dancer" sometimes. Any little detail left Hoseok wondering if he really deserved the things that he had.

He tried his best to ignore the thoughts. They were only trying to drag him down.

This performance would be the first time that the fans got to see the choreography. They had filmed a music video, but that wouldn't be released for two more months. Bang PD-nim wanted to make it a "surprise" for the fans.

Do your thing, was all that Hoseok wanted to say.

They stepped out onto the stage. The lights were black. The plastic stage was somewhat slippery beneath his feet. Not slippery to the point where he fell, but to the point where his feet didn't grip the floor well. Hoseok took a few deep breaths. Everything was going to be okay. They had practiced a lot for this.

The music started. Hoseok made sure he was in the right position and started performing. He couldn't see the fans clearly; he was focused on himself and the performance.

By the end of that show, Hoseok's ears were ringing. Holding that final position was absolutely torture for him.

Taehyung had kicked him accidentally. Hard. Hoseok had tried his best to not show any sign of injury. But his head was really starting to hurt.

The lights turned black. They shuffled off the stage and entered their dressing room. Hoseok walked slowly behind all the others. His vision was tilting. He felt sick to his stomach. The dancer swallowed; he was not going to throw up now. When he got some rest, he would be fine.

"Hoseokie?"

Jin held the dressing door open for him.

"Great job today!"

Jin's voice was too loud.

Hoseok nodded mutely. A stiff smile came to his face. "You too hyung."

Jin smiled in reply. "Let's order takeout when we get to the hotel, alright?"

"Yeah, that would be great."

The lights were too bright. They drilled holes into Hoseok's head. The dancer managed to make it to a chair, sitting down and trying to take some deep breaths. His head hurt. The place where he had been kicked hurt like hell.

"Hobi hyung, Hobi hyung!" Taehyung yelled. He rushed over to Hoseok and sat down in front of him. He had already finished changing to his regular clothing, but there was still makeup on his face. "Did I hurt you when I kicked you? Are you okay?"

Hoseok blinked slowly. "Yeah," he heard himself say.

"Want me to give you an ice pack?"

"Yeah, that-that would be nice."
