Hoseok bundled up his phone and blanket as Jiwoo jabbered away on his phone. He had to get out of here as fast as he could, otherwise the members would try to stop him. Surprisingly controlling the boys were.
"Jiwoo I'm coming, give me a second."
"Am I not your noona?"
Hoseok ignored her. He padded down the hallway to the back door. The door was locked. His hand trembled when he reached out to unlock it.
What he was doing was wrong. He wasn't supposed to just leave without telling any of the others. The agency, not to mention the members, would get angry. They would call him and make him listen to their lectures of how to be safe. He didn't want to listen to that nonsense.
Should he just tell Jiwoo to go away-
A loud yell came from the living room, sounding suspiciously like Jin. More crashes and bangs reached his ears, and in that moment, Hoseok made his decision.
"Hobi?" Jiwoo said with a questioning look on her face when the dancer stepped out. "Is something wrong? You look like you've been crying."
"Take me home please-" Hoseok choked out. He just wanted to leave. He didn't want to hear people yelling about him anymore. All the things he had worked so hard to get were being broken, and he didn't want to hear it anymore.
Jiwoo nodded, wrapping an arm around Hoseok's back and walking him to the car. She took the blanket and wrapped it around her little brother, checking his forehead to see if he had a fever. He didn't luckily. But she could see how the dancer kept sniffling and shaking and she knew he would have one soon.
Hoseok's family was originally from Gwangju. He had grown up there. He was also quite famous there prior to BTS as well, he was a street dancer quite famous for his fast, sharp moves. Ever since BTS had gotten so big, his parents had bought a small apartment in Seoul to be closer to Hoseok. The dancer was close to his parents even if his dad hadn't supported his dream at the beginning. His parents lived part of the year at Gwangju and the other part at Seoul. Jiwoo also had moved to Seoul to work on her clothing line, so basically Hoseok had many members of his family with him in the big city.
"You better put your mask on," Jiwoo said as she started the car.
Hoseok shook his head. "I didn't bring one with me."
His sister sighed but didn't make any other comment. She backed out of the parking lot, turning on to the back lane.
"Did something happen?" she asked again. "Hobi?"
"No."
Jiwoo said nothing for a while when she realized that Hoseok wasn't going to answer her question.
"Why don't you call Mom to tell her that we're coming over? I haven't told her yet." she said instead.
Her little brother reached into his pocket to get his phone out. His hands shook as he pressed the contact of his mom to call her. Hoseok's voice trembled when she picked up - he was on the verge of bursting into tears again. In his head, he could only hear the voices of the words he had heard the others say about him. He didn't want to wreck something else again.
"Hobi, tell me the truth." Jiwoo snapped when her brother got off the phone. "What happened to you? Something's different, you're crying, and out of the blue, you called me to take you to our parents and... yeah, just tell me what's going on."
Hoseok shook his head. "Nothing big happened. Don't worry."
Jiwoo didn't know what to say anymore. She decided to focus on her driving. Her mouth twisted slightly as she glanced over at her brother who was sighing, he looked so sad and preoccupied with something.
