There were rumours buzzing around the fandom. Was BTS finally going to release their first English song? Reactions were mixed among the fans. Some said that it was cool they were going to make an English song so the international fans could finally understand, some said that BTS were becoming more and more westernized which wasn't a good thing.

Hoseok thumbed through their posts once in a while. He himself didn't really have an opinion. He didn't mind doing an all-English song, though he was a bit unsure about his pronunciation. It was just a song. It wasn't like he was renouncing his Korean citizenship to become "hip."

When Dynamite came into their studios, Hoseok was immediately a bit surprised at the enthusiasm of the others. They were sure that Dynamite was going to be a hit. He wasn't so sure, but he was dragged into their excitement as well.

Despite the fans' and Namjoon's comments about his improved English, Hoseok was still hesitant about it. There were always things that he could improve with it. The words didn't sound right in his mind at times. If somebody threw an English question in his face, he wouldn't be able to answer fast enough for his liking. Hoseok wished he could be a bit more efficient when it came to learning languages.

He was very forgetful when it came to that. Grammar, spelling, vocabulary, everything took him a lot of time to figure out. Hoseok had made himself get a Duolingo account to practice, but he skipped a few days. The green owl started terrorizing him and Hoseok stopped using the app. Too scary. Duo looked like the kind of owl to assault you if you didn't practice your Spanish regularly.

Hoseok decided to start practicing English more frequently now. He got himself a brand new notebook, and tried his best to get a bit done each day. He watched videos online and got Namjoon to help him out too.

Maybe he shouldn't have worked so hard to learn English. Hoseok was sorely disappointed when he got his line distribution sheet. He had two lines. They weren't even rap. He knew that it was a vocal-based song, but that didn't stop him from feeling terrible about himself.

The members sat together after the papers were given out. Jimin and Jungkook switched a few of their lines as did Yoongi and Namjoon. Jin and Taehyung didn't seem too concerned about their lines. They seemed to be quite happy. Hoseok didn't want to dampen their moods by complaining.

"So, is everyone okay with their parts?" Namjoon asked.

Jungkook nodded. "I'm good."

One by one, everybody said yes. Hoseok agreed too. He was okay with it. Everything was okay.

"Who has the least lines?" Jimin asked. "I can give you some if you want."

"It's Hoseok," Taehyung said. "Hoseok hyung, I mean."

"Do you want any lines?" Jimin asked.

"I'm good."

"You sure?"

"Yep!"

It was okay, wasn't it? Hoseok was used to not being the center of attention. He was okay. He was the main dancer but rarely ever was the front dancer. He was a rapper but was always ignored. He was a member of the biggest band in the world but was the least popular.

It was okay. Hoseok would put on a big cheery smile on his face and pretend everything was okay. That's what he had been doing for the past few years, and that's what he would have to do for the next few years as well.
