"I cant believe Ralph Maxton is dead"
Harvey repeated again as they drove to their new hotel since they had to vacant their initial suite because it became a news breaking crime scene
The whole hotel was shut down

It had been a terrible nightmare for Harvey..... One minute he was sitting next to Ralph and the next Ralph is lying lifelessly in a body bag

It was cold as fuck outside when the detective decided to ask him a few questions since he was apparently the last person to seen with the victim

"Were did you meet with Ralph tonight "

"Uhhhm at the restaurant " Harvey rubbed his chin "Then he suggested we go to the casino "

"So what happened in the casino "
The detective asked eagerly

"I don't know...... The regular normal stuff "

"So You didn't notice anything off about him "

"No.... Ralph is a very jovial person... He lost the first two rounds but he was buckling up for the big end.... There was nothing unusual about his behavior.... I think he was really having fun until he excused himself. I thought he was going to the restroom"

"Do You know of anyone who might want to hurt the victim"

Harvey scoffs... He was so cold and this interrogation wasn't helping

"Look officer.... I don't know, Yes Ralph was a good friend of the family but I haven't seen him in years. I can't tell what's going on with him.... "

"Anything at all can be helpful"

"I think I have helped enough.... Can I go now, it freaking cold out here"

"yes... Yes Mr Pierce... But pls don't leave town we might have a few questions for you later"

"Yeah whatever.... "

He turned to look at Blackbelt standing behind him as they moved to the car

When he hopped in.. Randy started the car and asked where they were headed

"Tonight has been one hell of a bust... Can we just go rest our heads for the night... Anywhere pls "

"Am really sorry about your friend boss... I didn't know you guys were that close "
Randy said

"We are not close "

Harvey answered but it was true....
Ralph was an associate of his father's before him it was his own father...
Harvey knew they had something going on, all five of them behind close doors discussing things he could care less about even though he knew it has something to do with the flow of cash through Pierce Incorporation.
'Dirty Money' like his mom likes to call it.. His father has indirectly been training him to be the next Him, a member of their circus but that's just bulkshit.... He is not about to become his father and he sure as hell don't want to end up like Ralph Maxton

They pulled over at the nearest suite and booked their rooms.....

Years working as an hired assassin, killing targets for no reason.. They were not allowed to ask questions and she has never been concerned about why she has to take out her target,The same pattern of taking lives and getting away with it doesn't exactly make that feeling go away no matter how long you have been on the drill

That feeling of guilt, that makes your skin feel like it is peeling off and your sub conscious self reminds you of a grevious sin one has committed
