Sam stuttered with her heart pounding fast against her chest

"I don't know........ One minute we were together in her office and the next she's flying off the window "

"I don't understand "

"What's there to understand. They killed her... Those bloody maniacs threw her off the window.. To think that I was so close to telling her the truth. She should have avoided this"

"Slow down... What"
Sam was confused
"You were going to do what "

"Tell her everything about Craig and his army..... She could have been alerted and now she will still be alive"

Marie went on blabbing and sam really needed a moment to get this right

"You were going to tell Quincy about Craig..... Why"

"What do you mean why. It about time we did the right thing "

"And why would you think that is the right thing to do"

"Quincy needed to know that her enemies were right under her nose. I wish I'd pressed further this wouldn't have happened "

"You are sounding like you are oblivious to the whole situation. Whatever is going on between Quincy and Craig.. You are not suppose to be involved, You are not suppose to pick sides or sound partial "

"Uhm Sam I hope you are not trying to say Craig is the better fit coz am about to blow your brains from my phone I know the side I'd rather be ... Do you"

"Tis ain't about sides, it about staying safe. I thought I warned you not to do anything rash in the meantime. We have enough problems on our hands than to be bothered about two notorious leaders whose job description is to give kill orders, you have no business with them at all"

"I hope so, but why do you sound so indifferent are you happy that Craig is in charge"

"Honestly Marie, I really do not care, it doesn't matter who is in control that organization is bad news regardless although I know Craig is a terrible swap but Quincy was no better she was just tolerable"
Sam knows she's only saying this to stop Marie from worrying and getting in more trouble. Craig is indeed the worse of them all

"Marie where are you "

"Am right in front of the police station, have been here for hours"

"Why.... Did they take you in"

"I was furious and angry. The officer knew there was more to the story so he took me in but when they found out Quincy didn't make it they detained me for more questions "

Sam sighed placing her hand on her forehead

"Nothing. They just said to keep in touch "

"Marie You need to get out of there. Craig has access to the security footage and knowing that sneaky bastard he could be checking them one after the other. And if he realize you approached Quincy this morning after your clash with one of his own. He would want to know the end of it especially now that you spoke with the police"

"So what do I do"

"First we need to get rid of your chip... No matter where you go with it they'll find you "
