BROKEN (the list)

Seventeen

  The news about Tom Givens death  spread far and wide the next morning,

Sam first saw the breaking news on an  early broadcast on her laptop, she had been up all through the night thinking of the way forward

When she returned back to the Pierce's mansion early the next  morning, thankful that the house was deserted she went to her room took a long shower and lay on her bed with her eyes open

And just about 6am this morning she went for a jog on the streets
She was running round the block when she felt someone trailing behind her, at first she felt it was just a random stranger but everytime she turns to look back someone within close range docks....

She kept going and continue to feel the person follow her, the streets were quiet and it was easier to hear any sound...

When she got to a point she took a left turn and hid behind a tree, The thin man in dark hoody got to the exact point where she was hiding and killed his tracks, he looked around to see where she had gone into or the route she took.

Sam waited behind the tree and watch him turn about in confusion before he eventually head back To wherever he crawled out from

After making sure he was really gone, sam stepped out of hiding...
She let him get away because she needed to confirm he wasn't just a common thief... And if he was indeed a stalker.... She wants to know why and who sent him

when she returned back to the mansion about an hour thirty minutes later....

The house was back alive, more guards at every corner of the house making a nod to Mr Cornell, Sam returned to her room which she almost doubted was hers because someone else was laying on her bed

"Er... Excuse me"
The person on her bed pulled off the duvet from his head

"Shusssh..... Am trying to catch some sleep"

"Harvey!!.... What are you doing in my room and on my bed"

When he didn't answer she moved to the bed and shake him up
He sat up and placed his hand on his forehead

"I'm trying to sleep "

"Here"

"Obviously..... "

"You can't be serious, what happened to your room and how can you just walk into my room like that "

Sam didn't care that his father owned the building, this is her space and he doesn't have any right to just Barge in like that

"Well You weren't here, so I thought I could just rest for a bit"

"Why here"

''Because I have a someone in my room"

"I see, but it still doesn't explain why you choose to sleep in my room of all places "

"I was really sleepy..... And I heard you go out, I wished you had stayed gone because I really needed to rest"

"Well am here now, do you mind camping elsewhere "

He sat up on the bed and took a clear glance at her

"Where are you coming from "

"I went out for a jog... " obviously

"And where were you all night, after the whole thingy you just disappeared, and I didn't hear you come home until this morning "

"Wow... You are such a light sleeper, I thought it was my job to guard you not yours to worry about my whereabouts "

"Well if you are suppose to guard me and you are not here.... All through the night, I guess am in the position to ask about your whereabouts.. Blackbelt "
