Tick tock says the time
There's something about working with time that just makes your heart race faster than usual.
Marie was still standing outside the Coffee shop when sam hopped out of Quincy's car
Without saying a word, sam grabbed Marie by the hand and led her into the coffee shop. Once they grabbed an empty table they occupied it and sam released a heap of held breath
"Hey...... Am so sorry, I try to warn you but you weren't listening."
"I know.. I know, everything happened so fast "
"So what happened, what did she say ''
"Ohhh Marie, there's Quite alot on the plate so I need you to pay attention to what I have to say. There's no time "
Marie nodded
"But hold on, is it okay for us to be seen together "
"Yessss.... Just forget about that and listen to what I have to say, For everything I say I need to smile and look cheerful "
"Whaaat!! " Marie couldn't understand why sam wants her to smile now
"I know it sounds silly but I just told Quincy that we lovers and am sure she's still hanging around somewhere watching us"
"Wait......... Just hold on, did you just say lovers "
"Listen attentively..... Marie it important that you listen... So Quincy cornered me she was eager to know what the relationship between us is"
"And You couldn't think of anything better than lovers....... "
Marie interrupted and sam rolled her eyes
"Sorry... Go on pls"
"I had to make it believable, I already told you that Craig was on to us and the fact that your first mission coincidentally happened in my place of work. They are going to want to dig into that and begin to connect the dots"
"Shit! So what are we going to do"
"I wish we had time to deliberate about all this but unfortunately we have more pressing issues at hand.... And Quincy just gave me a deadline to complete the mission. She wants me to clean out my boss. Harvey Pierce "
"No fucking wayyyyyyy..... "
"I wish it wasn't true, I wished it was a better timing but now everything is just messed up"
"By better timing. Do you mean you would actually go through with it"
"No of course not, Harvey is not on that list at all...... She's hanging a thread around my throat and I can't exactly walk away from it because now there's so much at stake. You are now involved and even if I decide not to kill Harvey Pierce which puts my life in danger. There's someone else ready to complete the mission. And a hundred more in line....... As crazy as it already sounds... Quincy is giving me two days to complete it. How on earth am I suppose to do that"
"Holy....... Cow, this is really the height of it, why don't we just put an end to all this right now"
"I wish it was so simple, we have to do things the smart way because the moment we loose focus, not just our lives but that of those we care about will be lost too. "
"Is there anything i can do to help"
"Actually there is, I need you to help me figure out who ordered the clean up on Harvey "
Sam whispered slowly with her head down
"And how am I suppose to do that"
"You will find everything you need in the IT department, but be careful. You can come up with an excuse to use one of the computer system there. Make sure o one of the guys open the system for you so it won't be your username that logged in, then when no one is watching enter my code C19 and check my current mission. The reference could be numbers or alphabet. Just memorize the code and make sure you log out. It is not very straightforward but if you pay attention to every detail on the screen you will find the reference code, Do you think you can do that"
Sam tried to be as fast and detailed as possible while Marie listened attentively
