While walking inside the mall, my mind was occupied by what Lev said earlier. Some are better off without an explanation, it made me really curious. But I didn't bother ask him about it, kasi alam ko namang hindi niya sasagutin tanong ko eh.
"Hey, Uh... Where do you like to go?" He asked.
"Oh, ano ba gusto mong gawin natin?" I said.
"Ummm... Gusto mo bang kumain muna? A-are you hungry?" He said.
"Sure. I'll pay. Come, I know where to eat." Aya ko. I was suppose to grab his hand, so I could pull him but I felt shy for a little bit, so I didn't do it.
He did follow me inside a fine dining restaurant, we grabbed a table for two and ordered our food. When the waiter left, he started talking again.
"So, how are you?" He started.
"Everything's fine, really. Ikaw? Hirap maging president ng Student Council, lahat ng responsibilidad na sa 'yo." Pag-rant ko, which made him chuckle.
"It's okay, Miss President. Kaya mo 'yan." He cheered me up.
"Next week na game niyo, diba?" I asked.
"Yeah. Nakaka-kaba nga eh, pero okay lang kaya namin 'to. Kapag nanalo kami ng third game, lalaban kami sa championships, pero kapag hindi. Edi, hindi." He chuckled.
"First game niyo palang naman 'to, right?" My brows furrowed.
"Yeah, and hopefully to win. Pero okay lang din kung hindi, kasi first game palang naman." He said.
They're game does not represent our school naman, this is not like UAAP or such stuff. Mahilig lang talaga sila mag-join ng mga basketball games, they invited us, I guess to show support for them. That's why I agreed to go.
"What about this, my twin and I will treat the team samgyup. If you win the game." I dared.
"W-what?" Gulat siyang napatingin sa 'kin.
"Why? Ayaw niyo? Treat na nga namin kayo ng kambal ko eh." I said, even though hindi alam ni Aura na may ganto akong pakulo.
"U-Uh... Sure, sige Miss President! Thank you for your offer." He excitedly said.
"IF you win the game." I emphasized the first word.
"I assure you, me and the team will do well. And win, Miss President." He smiled.
Hindi na ulit ako nag-salita pa, dahil dumating na ang pagkain namin. We both ate quietly, and after that we walked around the mall. We both decided to watch a movie in the cinema, so we did. He paid for our tickets this time, it was a movie about love.
