Chapter 17

Today is our flight to Cebu, and I'm excited to see Lev when we get there.

"Kids, let's go!" Sigaw ni mommy sa baba.

Aura went down with her suitcase, and I followed her. Nakasalubong rin namin si Dashiell na pababa rin hatak ang itim niya na maleta.

It's 4 in the morning, and dad drove us to the airport. Afterwards, he parked it inside the airport, and we went inside. We went through immigration, and while waiting for our boarding time, we went to starbucks to eat breakfast.

I ordered assorted sandwiches, and a hot choco. I'm not craving much things, so this is a perfect breakfast for me.

When Dad, Dashiell, and Aura needed to go to the restroom, I was left with mom. I'm still eating my sandwiches when mom suddenly talked to me.

"How are you lately, anak?" She asked.

"I'm fine, mom." I casually said.

"Good to hear." She smiled.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" She followed up another question.

With that, I unconsciously dropped my sandwich and looked at her immediately. Mom is raising her brow, when she noticed me drop my sandwich.

"Anything wrong, baby?" She asked.

"M-mom.." I don't know what to say.

"What about that Lev? Are you guys dating? Kayo na ba?" She asked again, which made me look away.

Should I tell her? I mean, she'll meet Lev naman. So maybe, I could tell her about it already?

"U-uhhh... The t-thing is mom, I-I..." She cut me off.

"I knew it, when will we talk to this boy?" She smirked.

"He's in Cebu right now, and-"

"Great! Let's meet him later, shall we?" She said, which made my eyes widen.

Mamaya?! Mamaya na agad?! Won't she give us time for it?

"M-mom... I think it's-"

"A great idea! I'll not tell your dad about it first. Can't wait!" She excitedly said.

She's like more excited than me.

"Hey, let's go." Bungad ni daddy kasama ang mga kapatid ko.

"Alright." Mom smirked at me again, and stood up.
