Chapter 4

Parang sinuntok ang dibdib ko sa narinig ko sa kanya, I knew it.

Aura came walking, with a smile on her face. But when she saw my teary face her expression immediately changed. From happy, to shocked.

"Let's go." I stood up, and grabbed my bag. I walked to our car, and Aura went inside the driver's seat.

Pagkaupo ko pa lang sa shotgun seat, agad nang tumulo ang mga luha ko. I don't know, but it hurts so much.

"Basted ka 'no?" Aura said, she reached her hand to me and pulled me in for a hug.

"It hurts. So bad." I whispered.

"Shh, ano ba sinabi sa 'yo? Gusto mo ba sapakin ko na?" She said, which made me laugh a little.

"Nothing, just... Never mind, let's go home." Aya ko.

She didn't talk, and just drove away. When we got home, dali dali akong umakyat sa taas sa kwarto. I laid down my bed, and cried. I cried so hard.

"Ari?" Sinilip ni Aura ang itsura ko.

"Should I give up?" I asked her.

I heard her sigh, and sit down beside me. She just gave me a hug, while I was crying on her chest. I don't know why I'm really affected, but ugh! I shouldn't feel like this!

"Ate, ta- Oh, anyare dyan?" Sabi ni Dash.

"Ano?" Aura asked.

"Tawag ka ni mami, doon sa baba. Ano ba nangyari diyan?" Pangungulit naman ni Dash.

"Sige, ikaw muna dito! Punyeta naman!" Rinig kong sabi ni Aura at umalis sa tabi ko.

I wiped my tears with the back of my hands, Dash sat down beside me.

"Ate?" He said softly.

Hindi ko siya nilingon dahil panay tulo ng luha ko, kulit siya ng kulit sa 'kin, at nagulat nalang ako nang hawakan niya ang baba ko at pinilit harapin sa kanya.

"Bakit ba?" Sabi ko, I looked at him and I saw his face full of concern.

"What happened? Why are you crying?" He asked softly.

Jusko, kapatid ko ba 'to?

"Nothing, you won't understand." I looked away.

"I'll understand then, I will understand anything. Ate naman, ayaw kong nakikitang umiiyak ka. Hindi ka naman iyakin eh." He said.

"Ganun ba talaga kayong mga lalaki? Pinapa-fall niyo 'yung babae, paparamdam niyong gusto niyo sila, but deep inside you really don't like them. Are boys really like that? You guys play with feelings, huh?" Tanong ko na ikinagulat niya.

"Umm.."

"Why is it easy for boys to make women fall in love with them, then just dump them?" I cried again.

"Bakit? May nag-reject ba sa 'yo?" He asked. "Sino bubugbugin ko!"

"Stop joking, Dash. It's not funny." I gave him a deadly glare.

Umayos siya, and pulled me in for a hug. This is what I don't like sometimes, when I'm already done crying they hug me. It just brings me back to tears.

"Shh, tahan na Ate." He said softly, he caressed my hair habang pinapatahan ako.

After I recovered, Dash wiped my tears for me. He gave me a smile, but pouted when I didn't smile back. He used his two fingers to lift up the two side of my lips, so I could smile.
