"Babe, are you okay?"

Lev is sitting beside me, and my mind is still thinking about what I heard a while ago. What if his dad really did force him to break up with me? Gagawin ba talaga niya 'yon?

"Hey, something wrong?" He asked again.

"Tell me Lev," I faced him. "Will you break up with me even if someone forced you to?"

His lips parted as I asked him that question, nandito pa rin kami sa party at kasama ko sila mommy and daddy sa table namin.

"What?" His forehead creased.

"I said, would you break up with me even if someone forced you to?" I repeated.

I saw his adam's apple go up and down, as if it's like may nakabara sa lalamunan niya. He then looked into my eyes.

"No," mariin niyang sagot. "I won't break up with you, kahit anong mangyari, I won't and I will."

"Really?" I asked to make sure.

"Yes. That won't happen, babe. Papakasalan pa kita, kaya hindi pwedeng magkahiwalay tayo," he said and kissed the side of my head.

"Ang haharot talaga!" Sigaw ni Aura.

I glared at her and she laughed, she is sitting beside Sev. Itong malanding 'to! Tabi tabi pa sa jowa, pakipot talaga. Imagine, simula noon, nagpapacute na si Caden sa kanya. Tapos ngayong first year college lang niya sinagot, aba matindi!

"Lev, ingatan mo 'tong baby ko! Baka masapak kita, kapag umiyak iyak 'to sa 'kin!" Mom said.

I chuckled, and also did Lev.

"Yes, Mrs. Montevilla. I will," he nodded.

The party went off smoothly, and when it was all over. We decided to go, Lev thanked all the visitors who came at saka na nagsi-uwian ang lahat. I planned on when I get home, magrereview kaagad ako dahil may quiz kami bukas, today is a sunday kaya kailangan makapagreview na ako.

And like a while ago, sumakay ulit ako sa kotse ni Lev. Mom and dad went home first, and then sunod kami ni Lev.

"Ari," he called.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Why did you ask me that question a while ago?" He asked.

"Nothing, just curious," I lied.

I looked outside the window, and watched the cars pass by. I drew a deep breath, and took a quick glance at Lev. I know he's tired but he still insisted that he will take me home. Sabi ko sasabay nalang ako kela mommy, but he didn't agree.

"I know you're tired," I said and he looked at me when the light turned red. "Sabi ko sa 'yo uwi ka na eh."

"I'm not," he said in a deep voice.

"Lev, paano kapag may nalaman ka na makaka-apekto sa relasyon natin? 'Di ka ba natatakot?" I asked him.

He started driving, I saw how his jaw clenched a little, and he pressed his lips together.

"Lev, talk to me," I said.

He wasn't saying anything, until my eyes widened when he stopped the car in the side, na parang ang importante ng pag-uusapan namin! I mean, maybe it could be important, it's our relationship we're talking about here.
