Chapter 5 || Gym

TAEHYUNG'S POV

"Wait what?" I stopped in my tracks as I heard Jennie's words. "I already told you..." She groaned on the other line. "Don't pick me up today, just wait for me at school."

"But why?" I asked as I paced around my porch. "It's a surprise." She giggled. "Ok then, I'll walk with Joy instead..." I placed my phone down as I was about to hang up, but then stopped at Jennie's shout. "No! Just walk to school!"

"Alone?" Scratching my head, I furrowed my eyebrows. "Yes! Oh my god, for the hundredth time- just walk to school! Ok bye, alien!" She hung up. I suddenly grinned at my nickname. Jennie haven't called me that ever since 3 years ago.

She said it was a little bit childish now, so she stopped. But I love how she's bringing it back. I just shrugged it off and walked to school by myself, dribbling my basketball on the concrete sidewalk.

A/N POV

Once Taehyung arrived, his eyes immediately shot to Lisa and Jungkook who were bickering as always. He chuckled and sprinted to them. "Hey guys." He waved and stopped in front of them. "Wassup, hyung." Jungkook high-fived him.

"What are you guys arguing about this time?" Taehyung sighed, enunciating his words. "Well, me and Lisa are partners for the science assignment and-" Jungkook started but Lisa cut him off.

"This dork forgot to write his part of the essay! I already did mine, and it's fvcking due today!!!" She yelled. "Wait, you guys had work on the first day of school, and it was due the next day?" Taehyung asked calming Lisa down. "It's with Mrs. Lee..." Jungkook rolled his eyes.

Taehyung cringed at the name. "Yikes, goodluck..." He pat Jungkook's back. Lisa whined, stomping her foot. "What are we gonna do now?! When Mrs. Lee looks at our work, she's gonna change her mind about her new favourite student..." She pouted and pointed to herself.

"Wait, I thought I was her favourite student..." Jungkook pointed at himself. Lisa glared at him. "No, it's me!" She argued back. "Me!" Jungkook stepped closer. "No it's me!" Lisa copied him, and also took a step closer.

"ME!"

"STOP IT, IT'S ME!"

"YOU STOP! I'M HER FAVOURITE!"

"YOU ARE NOT! IT'S ME!"

"So am I a third wheel now?" Taehyung placed a hand on his hip and hugged his basketball with the other hand. The two maknaes stopped and looked at how close they were. One wrong move, and their lips would meet.

They both blushed. Wait, why am I blushing? I hate this brat! Lisa thought. She quickly backed away then rolled her eyes, hiding the fact that she was blushing a moment ago.

Jungkook backed away as well, scratching his nape. "Guys!" The three looked back to see Jennie with... Sooyoung?
