Chapter 8: Your Eyes Tell

The sound of the shutter, the photographer's compliments and the soft gasps from the people around was all you can hear inside the studio.

"Nice shot!"

"Perfect!"

Jungkook effortlessly posed in front of the camera. Every movement he makes is perfect.

"That's perfect, Jungkook!"

"Yes!"

"Okay, let's take a break."

Jungkook went straight to the chair and drank the bottle of water as the make up artist touched up his make up.

"You're doing great, Jungkook-ah."

Jungkook's manager, Hoseok, tapped his back and gave him a thumbs up.

"Thanks, hyung."

"What's with you today? You seem to be in a good mood."

Jungkook just shrugged his shoulders and smirked at him. He feels good actually. He had the best sleep of his entire life last night. He still have those nightmares but because of the girl in his dreams, he felt good.

"By the way, someone texted me this morning. Do you know someone named Lee Jieun?"

Jungkook's ear rang as he heard her name. How did she manage to reach her manager?

"What did she say?" Jungkook stayed cool but still can't hide the excitement in his voice.

"She said you left your wallet with her. She's asking if you can meet up with her or she can drop it in your place." Hoseok saw how Jungkook's face lit up with what he said, "Yah. Is this a con artist? How did she get your wallet?"

Jungkook ignored Hoseok's last sentence. He didn't notice that his wallet was gone missing as he have lots of it. That also explains why she got his manager's number. Maybe a business card was inside his wallet.

"I'll go meet up with her. Give me her number, hyung."

Jungkook lifted his phone in the air.

"Yah! You can't just meet up with a stranger---"

"I know her. She's a friend of Jimin hyung."

A part of Jungkook wished he can also call her that. But he doesn't want to be called just her friend. He wants more than that.

Still unconvinced, Hoseok grabbed Jungkook's phone and copied Jieun's number.

Jungkook took his phone and smiled as he stared at Jieun's number. "Thanks hyung."

Hoseok just stared at Jungkook with his hawk eyes. Something's fishy here. Hoseok haven't seen Jungkook act this way. As his manager for the past 4 years, it's the first time Jungkook looked happy.

With that, Hoseok got more and more curious about this Lee Jieun girl.

"Jungkook. We'll resume in five."

The photographer called Jungkook for their last shoot.

"Nae."

"Hi! You came!"

Jieun's bright smile and giggle welcomed Jungkook. What a beautiful sight, he thought.

"Yeah. Sorry I was a bit late." Jungkook pulled the chair in front of Jieun. "Do you want something to drink?"

Jieun eyed the menu. Jungkook was just staring at her. He just saw her the other day. And now she's in front of him again.
