"Where are we going?" Jieun asked Jungkook as she looked over the window.
"Stargazing." He shortly answered.
Jieun smiled. So he's actually learning, huh?
"I didn't know you're that type, Mr. Jeon." She smirked. "I thought we're just gonna grab some coffee?"
"I just learned that from my teacher." He winked at her.
Jieun almost choke. H-he just what?
"E-Eyes on the road, mister."
Jungkook chuckled at Jieun's reaction. He knows that expression very well. In that one week with her, he knows every bit of expression she shows.
He already grew fond of her. In everything he do, she's always the first one he thinks about. Is he already in love? Or is he just confused about this new feeling? But she's the only girl who can make him feel this kind of emotion.
Maybe? Maybe not? He doesn't know. What he's sure about is that he's never been this happy his whole life. A happiness that Jieun can only give.
"I'll be busy next week so I wanted to spend more time with you."
Jieun stared at him for a moment before smiling at him.
They reached their destination after a few more minutes of driving. Jieun gasped as she stared at the view.
"Wow. How'd you find this place?"
"I've been here before."
Jungkook watched Jieun as she tries to climb up to his car's bonnet. He chuckled before holding her waist with both of his hands, lifting her up.
Jieun almost shrieked when Jungkook lifted her up. "W-What are you doing?"
"There." Jieun gulped as she stared down at Jungkook who's smiling at her widely. She cleared her throat and looked away, diverting her attention to the stars up in the sky. "W-Wah. The weather's so nice tonight."
Is she nervous? He smirked.
"So..." He leaned on his car, next to where Jieun is seating, "... are you gonna let me hear it now?"
"Hmmm?"
"Your song."
"Oh, right." Jieun was about to jump down but she stopped, "Can you get my guitar please?" She smiled at Jungkook who can't stop admiring her sweet smile.
He went to get her guitar without saying a word. Control, Jeon Jungkook. You've been with her for a week and you're still acting like that.
He returned and gave the guitar to Jieun. "You ready?" He nodded.
Jieun started strumming the guitar, staring at Jungkook straight in the eyes. She smiled before singing the first line. She's singing the lines while staring at him like she's talking to him.
Every line she sings, Jungkook was smiling. Every note she hits, he can't help but close his eyes and get immersed on that beautiful melody coming out from her lips.
Jieun finished off the song with a soft hum before smiling sweetly at Jungkook. He clapped his hands.
"Wow."
"Is that all you can say?" She raised her eyebrows.
"You made me speechless."
"That's a good thing, right?" She giggled.
"I can't wait to see you holding the winning trophy." He smiled at her.
"Really? You think I could win?" Jieun smiled bitterly. She knows there's a lot of talented people out there and her chance of winning is not high. She knows how those competition works. If you're not influential or popular, you at least need some connections in the music industry to survive. But hearing Jungkook said that gave her heart a little hope.
