Chapter 24: Officially Missing You

"Jungkook."

Jungkook didn't look back at Jieun. He just stared at Mark without even saying a word. No one knows what's going on his mind right now.

She got chills the moment she saw how he stared at Mark. It wasn't the angry or jealous kind of look, it was—something else that she can't describe.

"Hey." Jieun held Jungkook's arm and that's whern he only moved to look at her.

His eyes shifted from that look to the soft and doe eyes she adored.

"Are you okay? Uhm. I-I was about to call you but then I bumped into Mark." She glanced at Mark. "Remember him? He's the one you met at the cafe."

"Yeah." He answered shortly.

"Nice to see you again, bro."

Jungkook didn't answered and held Jieun's waist, pulling her closer to him. Clearly telling him that she's only his and she's off limits.

The tension between the two men began but Jieun was oblivious about it.

Jieun smiled at Jungkook. "The guard didn't believed me when I said I was your girlfriend." She pouted. "The people were already looking at me. It was so embarassing!"

"I'll go ahead guys. I'll see you around, Jieun."

"Oh! See you! Consider my suggestion." Jieun smiled and Mark nodded, glancing at Jungkook before he left.

"What did you guys talked about?" He asked, his eyes still looking over Mark's back.

"He was looking for an apartment to move in. I suggested this building so you guys can be neighbors."

"What?"

"Yeah. Why? Don't you like it?"

"Hmmm. I just don't feel right about that guy."

Jieun smiled and pinched his cheeks. "You're jealous, huh?"

"Jealous?"

Jieun rolled her eyes. He probably still doesn't know how it feels like to be jealous.

"Im hungry." She said, diverting the topic.

"I missed you."

"I missed—"

He kissed her, not letting her finish. He wanted to kiss her the moment he saw her a while ago. He broke the kiss only to give her another peck.

"Jungkook... people are watching."

He smiled, holding her hand. They started to walk towards the building. "What do you want to eat?"

"Hmm..."

"Or do you want me to cook again for you?"

Jieun chuckled. He knows what she wants already in an instant.

"I want some pizza."
