Aeaea
- was a mythical island in Greek mythology, which was considered to be the place where the witch and minor goddess of magic, Circe, lived.

Agapenor
- a leader and prince of the Arcadians during the Trojan War. A son of Ancaeus and grandson of Lycurgus. He later then became a king and received sixty ships from Agammemnon, in which he led his Arcadians to Troy.

Amalthea
- the foster mother of Zeus, king of the gods. She is sometimes represented as the goat that suckled the infant god in a cave in Crete, sometimes as a nymph who fed him the milk of a goat.

Amazons
- were a race of female warriors in Greek mythology, who dwelt in the region of modern-day Ukraine.

Ambrosia
- is the food or drink of the Greek gods, often depicted as conferring longevity or immortality upon whoever consumed it.

Antiope
- was an Amazon, daughter of Ares and sister to Melanippe, Hippolyta, Penthesilea and possibly Orithyia, queens of the Amazons.

Arcadians
- the people who resided in Arcadia, a mountainous region in central Greece, was represented in Greek and Roman mythology as an earthly paradise.

Atlantis
- a fictional island mentioned in an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato's works Timaeus and Critias, where it represents the antagonist naval power that besieges "Ancient Athens", the pseudo-historic embodiment of Plato's ideal state in The Republic.

Chimera
- a monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature of Lycia in Asia Minor, composed of the parts of more than one animal. It is usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat protruding from its back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head.

Chrysippus
- a divine hero of Elis in the Peloponnesus, the bastard son of Pelops king of Pisa in the Peloponnesus and the nymph Axioche.

Elysium
- also called Elysian Fields or Elysian Plain, in Greek mythology, originally the paradise to which heroes on whom the gods conferred immortality were sent.

Fields of Asphodel
- also known as 'The Asphodel Meadows' is a section of the ancient Greek underworld where ordinary souls were sent to live after death.

Gargareans
- were an all-male tribe in Greek mythology. They copulated with the Amazons annually in order to keep both tribes reproductive.

Hippolyta
- was a daughter of Ares and Otrera, queen of the Amazons, and a sister of Antiope and Melanippe. She wore, as an emblem of her dignity, a girdle given to her by her father.

Island of Delos
- the birthplace of Artemis and Apollo, the twin offspring of Zeus by Leto.

Lycia
- an area located in the region of Anatolia, on the southern coast of Turkey. It played a prominent role in various myths such as the homeland of the Amazons.

Leokrokottas (Leocrocotta)
- a fantastic creature with the body of a stag, the neck of a lion, cloven hooves, and a wide mouth with a sharp, bony ridge in place of teeth. It had the ability to imitate the voices of men to lure prey.

Melanippe
- the daughter of the centaur Chiron in Greek mythology.

Mount Etna
- the deadly monster Typhon was trapped under this mountain by Zeus, the god of the sky and thunder and king of gods, and the forges of Hephaestus were said also to be underneath it.

Mystiokinesis
- one of the powers of the goddess of magic, sorcery, and witchcraft, Hecate, also called as 'reality-warping,' is the ability to cast and manipulate magic.

Orthrus
- a two-headed dog who guarded Geryon's cattle and was killed by Heracles.

Otrera
- the creator and first queen of the Amazons. She was the daughter of Eurus, consort of Ares, and mother of Hippolyta, Antiope, Melanippe, and Penthesilea.

Penthesilea
- an Amazonian queen in Greek mythology, the daughter of Ares and Otrera and the sister of Hippolyta, Antiope and Melanippe. She assisted Troy in the Trojan War, during which she was killed by Achilles.

Queen Hippolyta's Girdle
- a waist belt worn by the queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. It possessed the ability to provide supremacy and power to the wearer.

Sphinx
- a female monster with the body of a lion, the head and breast of a woman, eagle's wings and, according to some, a serpent's tail. She was sent by the gods to plague the town of Thebes as punishment for some ancient crime, preying on its youths and devouring all who failed to solve her riddle.
