Fortydust is a girl group that originated when the girls were only in middle school. They grew up together and started playing at high school events and teen parties where they eventually gained a small following. Over the years, they released singles onto youtube and other streaming services until they all turned 18 and moved to California together. Harley, the leader, eventually got into modeling in LA which led to even more popularity for the band. There, they released their first album called Simulation which was video game themed and lead to overnight success. Record labels fought over them until they chose RCA, who gave Fortydust the freedom to do what they felt was best for the group. Under RCA, they released their second project called, Time Capsule and the theme was time. Fans mostly liked their edgy style and versatility since they covered so many different genres. RnB, rap, punk, and pop were all thrown into the conversation when Fortydust was mentioned and that's what made them so good. While they were rising to fame, the popular boy band Brockhampton was doing the same. Thus leading to their rivalry.
