**TRIGGER WARNINGS**: Mentions of past abuse from parents
ERIS
Eris watched, bored, from her spot leaning against the wall at the sight in front of her. She sized up the boy who hadn't even noticed her from her spot yet. He had dark brown hair with matching eyes, he was short in stature; the same height as Eris herself, standing at five foot three inches.
"Are you sure about this one coach? He doesn't look like much." She finally spoke up, just itching to cause some form of trouble and chaos.
Eris had never dealt well with boredom, her personality was quite the opposite. She had picked up on a hobby that she used quite frequently. That being that always had to be causing a ruckus, instigating chaos in her wake everywhere she went.
She was very good at her hobby.
Neil's eyes shot in her direction in slight surprise, having not noticed her. He quickly scanned over her, analyzing her every move, calculating her as if he could ever pin down her next move. Of course, he would never be able to.
No, Eris was far too unpredictable for that to happen.
Nevertheless, he seemed to take in everything about her. From her curly raven black hair, to her deep Italian olive skin color, to her coffee brown eyes, to her outfit choice of black jeans, a Palmetto State Exy crop top, tennis shoes, and a gold pendant hidden under her shirt around her neck, to the way her eyes were wide along with her smile, both filled with crazed delight, and finally to the chaotic energy Eris naturally brought with her whenever she stepped into a room.
"You're Eris Amara" Neil stated plainly while she rolled her eyes. It wasn't surprising in the slightest that this guy knew who she was, anyone who even took a remote interest or followed exy knew who she was.
Eris has joined the team last year as a freshman along with Andrew (and his family of course). The two of them had been the only ones to turn down offers from Edgar Allen, and both had been blamed for Kevin Day's transfer to Palmetto.
"Congrats, do you want a medal or something for doing your homework?" She asked, picking up a nearby abandoned racquet, and twirling it in her hands.
"Play nice Eris" Wymack huffed behind her as she shrugged, feigning innocence.
"I don't know, I don't think he has what it takes to be a Fox" Eris chided, it wasn't that she didn't want more Foxes, in fact she wanted more desperately. As much as she refused to admit it, she loved Exy and her fellow teammates, and if they wanted any chance in making it to finals this year, they needed more players.
It wasn't even that she didn't think Neil could handle being a Fox, she could sense the tragedy and despair surrounding the boy, she could very much tell that this boy had what it took.
He just needed a little push in the right direction to ensure that he would sign with the Foxes, because something was obviously holding him back, and part of that something was Kevin.
Neil threw Eris a cold irritated look, making her crazed smile grow more, it was working.
"I can't say I blame you for the Kevin part, he's a real dick, you should know" Eris laughed as Kevin shot her a scowl from his spot in the corner.
