Four Years later.
"Everlee get back here!" Kolson shouted to our daughter, running out of the bathroom with soap bubbles all over her hair and body. Everlee continued to run around the house butt naked, having Kolson chasing her and the bubble trail was a huge giveaway. Declan only spared them a glance before turning back to his Christmas movie. He's definitely excited for Christmas tomorrow the most.
We went through a lot to be in this position. But I finally had everything I wanted. Kolson was still partnering in his business, I ran the hotel, I was happily married and had a little family in our house. Today makes it two years since Kolson proposed and eighteen months since we've been married. Could you believe that he actually asked me to marry him?
Everyone thought I'd have to be the one to ask, not that I wouldn't of. We moved out of the penthouse when I found out I was pregnant with Everlee. This time, it was planned but yet Kolson was utterly speechless when I told him. At this point, I'll do anything to feel this happy. I'm just thankful for the life I got myself and I'm happy things turned out this way. I know I have a very long life ahead of me with my family at my side but so far, it's been amazing.
Sage is engaged. After years of toxic and failed relationships, she finally landed herself with Erica Jean, a famous actor. She never gave up on YouTube. Eventually, she did a short series, and guest-starred in a couple of movies. Now she has finally taken a small break but has her music and clothing line to back her up financially. Quinton and Chelsea are traveling the world with Yennifer, their daughter, now that she's old enough to make some memories. It's been four months since they're gone and Delcan already misses them.
He's almost eight years.
I can't believe Declan is almost eight years. It makes me emotional that he's growing up so quickly, it's a bittersweet thing. I owe a lot to Serena for taking that bullet for Declan four years ago. She survived. It was a miracle that she did. If it was Declan...he wouldn't have survived and I'll- no, I'm not thinking about that again. She's the reason the four men, Alton and Michael went to jail and we made it out alive.
Serena insisted that no one speaks about that day ever again. Turns out, Chelsea managed to call the cops since her body was hidden by Quinton. That day she bought Quinton a new phone at the mall so it went unknown that she sneaked it out of the box before Michael could've thrown them into his panel van. Now, Serena is a high school teacher and landed herself a relationship with the coach. Let's see where that takes her. Verrin and Raven are on their third child. First, they had two twin boys, Nicholas and Nikaile, then Nalisa, their baby girl.
"Treasure, can you please help," Kolson pouted. He is devoted to that name, he'll never drop it no matter how immature I tell him it is. He insisted and I still love the name so I don't complain about it. I slid my glasses off my face and walked to behind the couch where Everlee was laughing away. With her not expecting me, I grabbed her easily.
"Mommy! You're no fun!" She whined with a cute pout on her face. "Your birthday is tomorrow sweetheart, you're turning four remember? You have to be clean in order to go to bed," I remind her and her ocean eyes lit up and the reminder of her birthday. Yup, both of my children have blue eyes like their father. Though, that was the only feature Everlee had of his. She had my nose, eyes, hair, face shape. I already knew she's gonna be my splitting image.
"Yes! And Jesus' birthday!" She grinned, throwing her hands in the air. "Yes baby, and Jesus' birthday," I confirmed. Thankfully, I got her cleaned up and dried before Kolson changed her clothes and put her to bed. While he did that, I helped Declan put the cookies and milk out for Santa.
"Why are they double chocolate chip cookies?" I asked him, walking back with the glass of milk. "Because daddy said that Santa only likes double chocolate chip cookies," Declan recalled. Of course, Kolson would say that. It is his favorite type of cookies after all. I'm surprised he didn't convince Declan to use chocolate milk instead. "Momma! This isn't chocolate milk!" Declan scolded me, his eyes widened in shock when he noticed the glass of milk was white.
There it is.
"What's happening?" Kolson walked into the kitchen without a shirt. I don't look at him for too long because I'll get distracted. Again. "She put normal milk! Not chocolate milk!" Declan exaggerated. "Baby, don't you know what Santa only likes chocolate milk?" Kolson faked his shock and grabbed the carton of chocolate milk. I simply glared at him and kept my mouth shut. I let Kolson do all the work, putting back the white milk and replacing it with chocolate milk in the glass. Once Declan was satisfied, he ran to his room after kissing us goodnight.
"You're taking this Santa thing too far," I huffed as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Aw don't be sad, Mrs. Claus gets a taste too," he assured me with a stupid smirk on his irresistible face. "The tradition isn't with chocolate milk or double chocolate cookies," I reminded him, still not giving up. His head dipped to my weakness spot on my neck, trailing his nose along the skin.
"How about you punish Santa Claus, Treasure?"
