She found the letter.

She has the letter.

I'm fucked.

I know I said I wanted her to read it but I didn't actually. This ruins everything. Between the obvious and not so obvious lines of that letter, I revealed my feelings for her and she's gonna think I'm a cheater. I'm not a cheater. Well...God. This is messed up. I drove home in anger, gripping the wheel tighter than usual with hooded eyes.

I slammed the car door and got out of the car after carelessly parking it randomly in front of the house. I didn't even bother to lock it, I just stormed in the house, craving something with strong alcohol but I was more mature than that. I just need to go to the gym. Yeah, the gym is an awesome outlet for all the anger and raw emotions flooding out of my veins.

I ran up to our bedroom. Well, I guess it's now Nessara's bedroom since we sleep separately. Tonight. Hopefully, tonight is when I break things off with Nessara. I was about to do it after the intrusion last night but she came home late at the bar. I was suspicious because she was sober but then she told me that she was the designated driver. I opened the door with a mission to change my clothes into something athletic wear.

My eyes betrayed me when I saw Nessa being pinned to the wall, her legs wrapped around another as her lips were captivated by no other than Sage. They both broke apart but Sage held Nessara to the wall. "What the fuck? W-What?" I stuttered, having a hard time wrapping my head around what I was seeing right now. "Baby," Nessara pleaded, unhooking her body from around Sage's waist. I couldn't believe my eyes, as cliché as that sound, it is true.

My heart raced at an abnormal speed and I instantly knew I needed to calm down. "Start explaining before I fucking lose it! This is cheating Nessara! You're engaged!" I screamed. I know I was wrong because I've basically cheated as well. I mean, I'm not that loyal since I can only think of Siya and that prevents me from being intimate with my fiancé. But nevertheless, I never acted on it physically no matter how tempted I was. Cheating is just wrong and it's been eating me away because of a few dirty thoughts.

"You weren't meant to find out like this. I just," she blurted out, having trouble on what to say and I just wanted answers right now. She wasn't delivering and it was pissing me off. "Just sit down, please," she begged and glanced at the sofa in the corner of the room. "Don't tell me to sit down! Tell me why you're kissing a girl in our house!" I stormed. I had the urge to punch something and very soon my fist would be in the wall.

"I'm bisexual, Kolson. I met Sage when we moved here, before you became a CEO. You just- you got me angry and she made it easy and perfect. I'm sorry for cheating and I know it looks bad but I didn't expect it to become like this," Nessara rambled off finally. "That doesn't give you a reason to cheat on me! You told me to fight for us and look at you! Fucking hypocrite!" I shouted, the angry words just flying out of my mouth without even thinking about it.

"The neighbors are gonna heat you. Calm the fuck down, Kolson," Sage dared to order me around right now. My shoulders relaxed and I breathed harshly through my nose while I drilled holes with my eyes at Sage. "Does Siya know about this?" I questioned. For some reason, that question has been screaming at me in my mind. It would be even worse if she knew. Is this the secret she's been keeping from me? When she hesitated to tell me something earlier, I sort of realized she was keeping a secret.

"Of course she doesn't know. Even if she knew she wouldn't have told you because in case you haven't realized, Siya is very good at keeping secrets," Sage huffed angrily and relief hit me hard. "Whatever. I'm calling the wedding off," I determined, changing the topic. Her face paled and she physically froze. "What? You can't call the wedding off! We can get past this," Nessara pleaded with tears burning the corner of her eyes. "So what? I'm nothing to you? You're the one who called me here!" Sage stormed.

"The wedding is off. I told you I needed time to think and you fully cheating on me makes the answer really clear. Thank God we didn't start the actual planning yet," I mumbled the last part softer. Her eyes were still slightly wide and her lips were parted to say something but no words left her lips. She looked to the ground in defeat as she apologized. "I'm so sorry, Kol," she mumbled softly.

I gave her a small smile, mustering the last bit of kindness left in body. I walked into our closet and grabbed the largest black suitcase and began filling as many articles of clothes as I could of. I'd have to return for more and my other things eventually but this would have to work for a couple of days. I unlocked the hidden safe and took out all the cash I had saved in there and dumped it in the suitcase before zipping it up also.

I walked out and Nessara was sitting on our bed, her body screaming defeat and sadness. Sage, on the other hand, leaned on the wall with her arms crossed on her chest while she glared at Nessara. Without another word, I walked out of there and back into my car. My destination was unknown but I just had to go somewhere. I couldn't stay here. Maybe I can do work at home for a couple of days to avoid Siya also.

For some reason, I didn't feel hurt. I felt betrayed and confused but not hurt. Ten minutes later I pulled up in front of the familiar apartment complex. God, I hope Raven isn't home. I grabbed my suitcase and locked the car, pushing the black sunglasses up the bridge of my nose fully. I pressed the doorbell and waited patiently for him to open the door, when he does, I didn't bother for a hello, I pushed his door open further and stepped around him. I dropped my suitcase and walked in the direction of his minibar. "What the fuck happened to you?" Verrin questioned, tailing behind me.

"I need a fucking drink."
