I fixed my dress as I got out of the car. It was the type of dress to bunch up on my thighs when I sat. It was a beautiful peach colored dress that clung to my body, showing off all the curves I had to offer. It was long sleeve and ended mid-thigh. With it, I wore gold wedges paired with a gold purse with my essentials.

Crave didn't look busy today which made me wonder if Verrin rented out the entire restaurant. He was one to do that. I pulled open the door and stepped in. The girl dressed in uniform smiled at me politely. "Good night, name in reservation please?" The receptionist kindly asked, now staring at her computer.

She didn't ask which reservation. Verrin definitely rented the entire restaurant. "Shaw," I replied. She checked my name off the list and showed me to the main area. There he was, sitting around the table. To the side was a minibar and on the other side was a music player. "You're seriously rich," I announced my entrance. Verrin stopped talking to the girl and his eyes lit up upon seeing me.

"Siya! You made it!" He cheered, walking over to hug me. I hugged him back barely, not wanting his girl to get the wrong impression. "Who's this?" I asked, looking at the nervous redhead. She was beautiful and I instantly realized they would make a cute couple.

"Qatsiyah, this is Raven. Babe, this is one of my best friends, ex-assistant and friend from high school," Verrin fully introduced. She smiled softly, also hugging me. Raven directs me to sit on the chair next to her and Verrin sat opposite her on the table of four. "So um, are we expecting anyone else or I'm just the guest of the night?" I questioned Verrin. He shifted in his seat, avoiding my eyes and once again saying nothing. I glared at him," Verrin..." I warned.

Please not who I think it is. "I promise-" he was about to say when the door open and the devil himself walked in. No, not Lucifer, the person even worse. He grinned when he saw my angry eyes and I couldn't help but stare back at his stupid face. "What are you up to, Verrin Shaw?" I snapped. "I just want to talk to you guys about the new building going up in Washington," he whined.

"And announce our engagement," Raven added.

I fucking knew it.

"I'm so happy for you both! It's about time! Congrats!" I cheered, hugging Raven across the chair. "Thank you, this idiot took very patiently but the moment was perfect. He's perfect," she expressed, staring at her soon to be husband. Gosh, they're so cute.
