It was the next day, a new day for Rehan, Maya as well as Natasha! While Rehan waited for his late lateef friend Natasha, Maya was totally zoned out with the events happening around her especially after Natasha's closeness towards Rehan! Her questions were still unanswered! All she could here was her dad calling out her name as she was late like always!
The only common things between Maya and Rehan was music, whole she and Natasha had many things common and mostly the list topped with, "how to annoy Rehan with getting late?"
Maya had decided to ask either Rehan or Natasha about their relationship with each other! But the question was does she have such kind of rights over Rehan? Will he answer? Does she still matter to him? Many more questions cropped up in her mind while she headed towards the car!
On the other side Rehan was way to pissed at Natasha for her irregular behavior and lack of being punctual! He had already started grumbling over the fact to her!
R: Ms Diva agar hua toh chale?
N: haan! Haan chalo mein kaha kuch kaha tuje... 😅
R:why are you like this? Teri wahje aaj mein late hone wala hoon 🙄bola tha mein Kal be on time... par nai... why would you respect time!
N: blah blah blah... Rehan yaar machines time se chali ti hai not humans.. And waise bhi first lecture aaj nai hai... So why are you all grumpy? Aur wo bhi subhe.. Tuje Pata hai I hate mornings,but I woke up for you na? Uski tuje koi value hi nai hai.. Khadoos kahi ka... 🌚😶
R: oh lord firse chalu... Kabhi to mujse agree kar tu! Par nai.. I am the one who is made to feel like a guilty lad... Moti kahi ki 🙄
N: how rude Khadoos... I'm not going talk to you... Jaa tu.. (turning her face to the other side of the street with her hands folded)
R: are...re re acha thik hai I'm sorry... maan bhi jaa I'm sorry... Subhe mood mat kharab mat Kar sorry na...
N: muje tere baat nai karni hai... Leave me alone! (while she pouted and pretended to be still mad at him)
R: dekh tu agr mere baat nai karegi na.. I won't talk to you nor sing songs for you 😏soch le waise bhi tere jaisi moti ko aur koi nai jhel nai sakta, leaving me! 😅
(As he ran as fast he could after hitting on her head)
N:Rehan ke bache...(as she ran after him)
R: pakad nai payegi tu muje moti..
N: you just wait...
As they ran and laughed, tears of joy started rolling down their eyes!
(panting)
R: moti tu ab tak muje pakad nai payi hai
N: cutie pie.. (before she could complete)
R: apple pie suna hai, ye cutie pie kya hota hai? 🌚
N: jab tu kitna cute face bana ta hai na.. I feel like just looking at you and pulling those rasgullas! Isiliye tuje pie ya rasgulla bula ne wali hoon... After all you need to have some sweet things in your life, fir wo kadwa pan Tera chala jayega... Isiliye cutie pie hai tu mera.. Bas mera samjha?!
R: hey bhagwan! 🤦🏻♀️Tera mein kya karu... Mein tuje kuch bhi bolunga you won't listen.. Toh kya fayda... Bas ek request hai college mein ye pie why mat bulana... Please! Waha meri imagine hai... Waat mat laga...
N: (haha 😂) just look at you requesting, thik hai nai bhu laungi... Tu Bhi muje moti nai bulayega... Samja?
R:thik hai... Deal!
N:Deal!
(While they walked towards the college they saw a poster of a upcoming movie!)
*both looked interested in it...*
N: lets watch this na... Mene suna hai he is an excellent actor... please rehan!
R: yes he is... Pata hai he was also just like us..small town se mumbai tak iski journey is something I would love to know... Academics mein best, har kisko pyaar karta hai, respects everyone no matter of their position or clothes.. Itna humble hai ye... tuje Pata hai he played Dhoni in the Dhonis biopic.. Kya acting ki thi.. I was just stunned watching him, confused ho gaya tha mein it him or dhoni himself on the screen, even jaan and baba loved his acting! He is magical dekh even I'll watch with you!
R: haan self made hai ye and humble hai baki stars jaise nai hai just like you and me hai ye... is bande ke liye kuch bhi galat nai soch ya bol pata hoon mein.. Respect!
(While Rehan admired Sushants poster, Natasha Googled his movies name)
N: wait what... This movie is based on my favorite novel "Fault in our stars" wow 😍
R:Fault in our stars, you got to be kidding... damn this guy and his choices! Are just wow!
N:seriously... we'll watch it together, kisi aur ke sath plan mat Bana samjha...
R: tere siva mera kon hai!
(As the walked,talked and reached college finally! While Maya's car just entered the college as well and saw them together and talking and laughing and all happy, making her all jealous for "some reason"😉) Natasha was holding Rehan's hand tightly as possible and everyone looked on! While she didn't understand, he knew the reason behind those stares...
As he walked towards the stairs he gave everyone a look and everyone acted as if nothing happened!
While Raima and her gang couldn't get over the shock, even Tanya was shocked as well looking at him laughing and smiling, which none heard in so many years!
His laughter was therapeutic and smiling could kill anyone, just those curves were making girls go ga ga on him all over again and jealous as well of Natasha was the reason behind it and not them! All these years only his songs would kill them along with those looks and now that laughter and smile!
While Maya could only see them and get jealous, but as she saw him laughing, and the sound of his laughter, which was music to her ears and her heart asked her to keep this sight close to her forever! It was indeed a great and wonderful day ahead for sure... she wanted to hear him one last time laughing!
As they headed towards the canteen and sat there and spoke about various things from movies to music to trips around the world to food to academics everything.. Not one single topic was left out.. Before their next lecture would start!

Ps. This year has been a traumatizing and pathetic for all of us, with the pain around us and the pandemic etc.. And the pain of losing Sushant Singh Rajput last month, this part is my side of tribute to him... May he shine and smile in the galaxy where he belonged! ❤️
