Is The Storm Approaching ?

She had many questions, looked at him with those questions many times throughout the trip! She just looked at him smiling, laughing, talking to everyone normally! It looked like he had some sort of with her! His eyes told her another story, but what? 

Aisa kya tha that Rehan's smile wasn't meeting up his eyes! What bothered him? Was it her presence? Or something else? All these questions got added up to the previous ones. From where she began she somehow ended up there itself! What made it strange was Rehan looking at her and laughing! As if he wanted to show that she wasn't affecting him! 

While all the others were happy with Rehans mixing up behavior, Raima could clearly see Maya's face having questions regarding the same! 

R: kya hua aren't you happy that he is happy? 

M: I'm happy, would be when he is genuinely happy! 

R: Genuinely happy? Are you kidding, look at him he has just started over again.. And is happy… What else did you want? 

M: He looks happy, but is he really happy? Ya ye muje dikhane ke liye hai? It clearly looks a pretence for me! What just happened back at the resort, he was drunk or not, those eyes told me a story of their own! And upar se he was confessing his pain with those bottles, what about all that? 

R: if he is showing you that he is happy then, probably he is working on himself Maya! And those questions you have in your mind regarding his behavior back at the resort were clearly stating that he is making you feel the guilt… Probably! He is Rehan we can't say anything about him… The one we knew was way too different from this version…

M: maybe tum right ho! But.. Fir bhi kuch thik nai lag raha hai muje! 

As she looked at Rehan who was busy in his own world and played with the guitar strings as he was thinking of something! 

While Maya wanted to speak to him and confess her feelings as well as apologize for what she had done to him! He was the person who was used to being humiliated since a kid, but they were not someone who mattered to him or was it a show for someone! All the while she thought till they reached college at late evening, all were extremely tired just picked their bags and proceeded towards the cars that were present to pick them up! While Rehan walked the long way to catch either the bus or train, he was used to this hectic schedule! While a few girls did offer him to come along with them in their car,especially tanya! But he refused them politely!
R: nai tanya! I'm fine.. Meri aadat hai, but thanks for asking...
T: Rehan formality karogy ab tum! Please come I insist to drop you itne raat ko what will you get... Nor a cab, Rick or even the bus...
R: koi nai bus or the metro hai hi! I'm used to this life... Tum tension maat lo.. I can manage! Bye see you tomorrow...
T: thik hai is bar tumhe aisi chod diya next time you will have come along!
T: Rehan ek baat bolu... I know it's not the correct time, but if you don't mind!
R:tum kab se mere sath kitni formal hone lagi ho... And yes I'll definitely Come with you the next time pakka promise... Rehan wala promise!
T: sab thik hai na? Throughout the journey you were just smiling and laughing... Which is good and suits you.. But that's not you! Jabse Goa main wo sab hua you are changed, aisa kya hua tha Beach par? 🤔
R: tum muje itna notice kiya! Waah kya baat hai... On a serious note I am used to getting hurt easily so bas just smile and tell the world you are stronger and aren't going to break down easily! Bas that's it... Tumhari concern mere liye was not surprising.. Pata tha muje you'll ask me this! Pure time bus main you were just looking at me and asked me, "tum thik ho na?"
T: dost hoon Rehan tumhari... Bas aise hi smile karte raho.. Tum smile karte hua bahut ache lagte ho!

While Maya who had heard everything wasn't still happy with the fact he spoke to Tanya... But was it the truth that he had spoken to her or just another way to avoid the serious topic!

While she waited for her driver to come, she saw Rehan walking off and wanted to talk to him! But something in her stopped her from doing the same!
“Abhi nai Maya, give him sometime and yourself also! Kal baat karte hai” as she smiled looking at him going!

As Maya reached her home she saw her parents waiting for her and the first thing she did was hug her father tightly! These 8 days were hectic for her and she had missed her house and parents the most! While on the other side Rehan had entered the house to see his sister sleeping and his father who was waiting for him near the table sleeping so that they could have dinner together!

As he gently shut the door, first he did was cover his sister with a blanket and keep the present that he had bought for her near the small table, beside the couch!
And then changed his clothes and went near his father just to see the food was untouched and had gone cold!

He took the bowls and heated up the food and woke up his father, just to ask him to make him have his dinner and take his medicine!
As he woke up he saw Rehan standing near him! He instantly woke up and stood up wiping his eyes, "beta tum aagaye! When did you come? You should have woken me up!”
“baba thik hai... Aap phele baithiye... Main aapko parosta hu... Eat and you need to have your medicines as well!”
He served his father and served for himself and they both sat down to have their dinner! And had a lot of discussions about the trip and his work and riya! While Rehan was not comfortable about talking about the trip yet he showed his father the pictures of the various beaches and churches!
Just to see that smile on his fathers face!
