One Step Closer !!

As the program started it was some songs, dance and games to keep the students entertained, as the dean Mr Francis took his leave along with the staff members it was all students and some cleaning faculties! While they saw the students enjoying games, they stood near the college pillars! This made Rehan feel bad and wanted to do something for them… So he knew none of the cool dudes and girls won't help or do anything for them.. He silently went there along with some food and drinks & gave them it, Natasha and Maya admired him for being so helpful and considerate towards them...

As Natasha knew what exactly he felt and even now Maya had started to learn more about him! She thought to herself.. 

M:" ye bahut hi masoom hai.. He knows the pain these people feel.. Yaha isko kisi ki nai padhi hai they are busy enjoying and in their own world of show off… Kitne acha kon ho sakta hai… Aur kaise? I know I teach and spend time with the underprivileged kids, but ye jo karta hai ek ajeeb sa sukoon se karta hai, nothing to hide from anyone or the world! He doesn't care about judgments nor anything else just is himself! ❤️While I'm hiding from people who I'm under this great Maya Kasshyap!"

While Natasha knew exactly what he was about to do after offering food and drinks when they were still available on the counters rather than leftovers, he straight away headed towards the table where Natasha was sitting and admiring his kind, gentle, genuine heart and soul.. She immediately handed over the gifts he got from the girls.. And she helped him with the rest of them… 

Maya looked on and smiled while her gang were busy gossiping about it and didn't like what he was upto…

Raima came near Maya and asked her the reason behind that sweet, peaceful smile she had… 

M: Rehan… 

Was everything she said looking at him, while Raima didn't understand what Rehan was up to and why would he give away all the gifts he just received without even before opening them… 

R: why would he do that? What if something expensive was there on those gifts? Aise kaise he could just give them to those staff? 

M: so.. He gave it without thinking about what's in it.. Bas de diya and instead got those million dollar smiles and so many blessings from them… Waise bhi when you open the gift and you don't like it and then give it, it makes no sense, just makes one look so selfish instead of selfless.. Dekh unko dekh how happy they look!! They look so happy that someone acknowledged them… 

R: hmm.. Tu pagal ho gai 🤦🏻‍♀️ 

M: kindness and gratitude etc showing them doesn't make anyone look small or poor or rich, just shows itna ameer hai wo insaan dil se.. 😍Aur btw Is mein pagal jaisi koi baat nai hai 🌚 anyways.. 

R: hmm. 

As Rehan gave them the gifts and some bands he had due to those crazy girls, he tied them to them.. And thanked them 

R: thanks for everything, aapke waise ye college function kar pata hai! Nai to pata nai kya hota.. Aap sab ko happy friendship day, hugging each and everyone there.. 

Natasha felt proud of Rehan, she wished them as well 🙂 after that there were some games that needed couples like how well do you know each other! Etc.. 

After everything was wrapped up at college it was time to head out for their individual plans.. All Rehan had in his hands were the roses that the girls gave him. As he proceeded towards the car and opened the backseat door and kept those roses and headed towards the driver's seat and started the car, while Natasha spoke to a few boys and Maya's gang waited for the boys of their gang to start their bikes and waited for the girls to do their touch ups and all while Maya's car was parked right behind Rehans making it difficult for him to move.. 

He called Natasha and asked her about Maya as her driver was nowhere to be seen as well and they were getting late.. 

N: pata nahi shayad washroom mein hogi wo… Let me check.. 

R: Haan please jaldi karo.. 

As Natasha went in the washroom and heard them speaking about Rehan and her, especially Rehan and all she could hear was 

"jo bhi wo trip mein hua, that has changed his behavior towards me! Pata hai that bet shouldn't be done, but spur of the moment I agreed and now I'm regretting! Upar se he has a girlfriend who is his best friend as well! Hadh hai yaar aaj itne dino baad he spoke to me and smiled and shook hands, but mujhe pata hai it was all fake.. Tuje Kya lagta hai Raima, Natasha knows what happened between us? " ~M

" pagal maat band, if she knew ab tak drama hota! Aur waise bhi forget it, just like how he did! Bhul jaa and now smile and think about our friendship celebrations" ~R

Maya nodded, but before Natasha could knock the door her phone ran and it was Rehan… 😅 

She answered his call and told him,will bring Maya out not to worry… 

As she went inside, she asked Maya for her help…

N: Hey.. Muje tumari help chahiye thi Maya!will you please help me out? 

M: hey, yeah kya chahiye tha? 

While Raima gestured  not to agree, still Maya went along with Natasha! 

Natasha pointed out at Rehan who was standing near the car door (half inside) 

Maya was a bit shocked to see Natasha's demand, yet she asked her… 

M: Rehan.. 

N: Haan Rehan… (lost in her own thoughts) 

M: Natasha what about him? Is he OK? (Maya started to panic, breaking Natasha from her thoughts) 

N: Haan… Haan.. Are wo tumari gadi humare gadi ke peeche hai and Rehan can't take it out.. So needed your help as your driver isn't seen anywhere… 

M: oh… N.. No problem mein unko phone karti hoon.. Don't worry.. 

(Maya called up her driver and asked him to take the car away from the driveway) 

N:  thank you Maya :) 

M: Your welcome 🙂 

As she proceeded towards their car she thought about everything that was going on for the past few days now.. While Rehan waited for her.. 

As she was proceeding Maya called her out… 

M: 'NATASHA' 

N: Haan.. 

M: actually if you have time, muje Sirf ek baat puchni thi..? 

N: Haan.. Haan yeah go ahead… 

M: mujhe nahi pata tha you knew Rehan from childhood and never knew he could drive! 😅 

N: Haan.. He knows so many things, kabhi tho I feel insecure and sometimes he is an inspiration to me as well😅Waise uska dil sone ka hai.. He'll do anything for anyone who matters to him, but if you hurt him na.. Uske baad he'll never look at that person.. Itne saal ka experience hai uske sath so I know him at least this much, pata nai kab muje wo surprise kar de.. Anyways aur kuch? Should I go! 

M: yeah.. Hmm.. Bye 

N:bye 

Maya pondered over what Natasha just spoke before being called out by her friends.. 

While Natasha walked towards the car, about what happened and had made up her mind to find out the truth... One step closer to the truth...
