Jealousy : Final Part

Maya was jealous of the fact Rehan had moved on and the transition was fast as if she blinked her eyes and everything turned against her! 

As Rehan and Natasha left from there, she was all left alone with Raima! 

All her insecurities, anger, guilt, jealousy started to crop up! As she had held in herself for a while now, all she did was watch Natasha and Rehan, hear about them wherever she went! Before Natasha it was Tanya and the gang of girls who were always around him! 

Raima just took his name and Maya blasted her, like anything! 

M: what the hell Raima? Tu kiski dost hai? Uski ya meri? All I hear from you is Rehan did this, Natasha did this, they were here, they were there! Hadh hai you are obsessed with him and his girlfriend 😐jab dekho Rehan Rehan Rehan! Get a freaking life… Gossip ke alaw bhi ek zindagi hoti hai! You don't have any other thing to talk about? Nai hain toh baat maat kar, chup baithe… Live and let live! Samjh me Aya? 

(With anger which was never seen before in her eyes, fists clutched, face almost turned into a red tomato!) 

Raima was shell shocked to see Maya this way… She had seen sweet, flirting, prankster and in madly in love, guilty and angry and jealous Maya as well! Making her speechless and don't know how to react to just what she heard! 

All she could say with a nervous smile and fear in her eyes on the outburst.. 

R: calm down… E… (before she could complete her sentence Maya again blasted her) 

M:  calm down.. Kaise karu? Do you even know how I feel or how I am feeling right now? Nai na… Bolna aasaan hai calm down, but it's fucking difficult! Few days back Rehan was sweet to me that smile on his face was due to me… And now it's due to someone else! Tuje Pata Hai how that feels? Nai na… So Please don't give me that gyaan of calm down.. That's bullshit! 

He freaking forgave me once and then we turned friends, yes I will admit it that I was pretending all that just to take revenge… But those few days he made realise who I'm really! The Maya that wasn't seen anywhere near this Maya in the college, was made comfortable and was accepted by him and what did I do broke his trust again(by now tears had soaked her cheeks and eyes turned red) who knew Maya Kasshyap would fall in love with R and who knew R was none other than khadoos Rehan Banerjee… I know I was… Wr.. Wrong to introduce myself as Pari… Pata hai muje I have hurt a gem of a person… I… I'm sorry about that… Itni badi saaza kyu de raha hai wo muje? 😭😭💔
(by this time she could hardly breathe and talk! She gasped for air and started to crumble down on the ground, holding her hands on her face to cover it and soaking those cheeks and the eyeliner just getting messy all around her eyes and slowly dripping on her face! But she didn't care enough about her now all she wanted was Rehan to forgive her, which she knew was impossible by now!) 

Raima heard her, her agony felt really bad for her… however she was didn't matter she held her tightly in her arms and hugged her… Resting her hand over her head so Maya could take the support of her hand! 

She heard all her rants patiently not uttering a single word! Allowing Maya to vent her anguish out which would make her feel at least somewhat better and lighter! Raima would gossip about everything but not Maya and her feelings, she knew where the line was drawn… afterall that's what best friends do right?! 

Somehow that day had passed for Maya! She even realized how she had been with Raima.. Felt guilty about her behavior towards her… At the end of the day she went upto her before she left the college… And apologized for her rude behavior.. She didn't mean to hurt her feelings or say anything unpleasant to her! But it happened in a spur-of-the-moment seeing Rehan with Natasha and those rumors and gossips all just took toll on her for the moment! While Raima just smiled and hugged her and told her to relaxe!

R: tu zara chill Kar… All is well… It happens this sort of things happen! After all friendship does mean being in thin and thick right! 😅So chalta hai… Waise Kal Sunday Hai and its friendship day.. So how are we going to celebrate that? And forget all that happened today its just a phase… 
Maya just nodded and hugged her again having a few tear drops in her eyes still. 

While here Maya had her share of frustration vent out, making her a bit relaxed! On the other hand Rehan knew Natasha was bound to ask him about what had just happened a while ago! 
While Natasha just gave him that look! She had confirmed that something is wrong and something is still hurting Rehan, hence the facade of being a boyfriend in front of especially one person and group! And that conversation that he had with that girl near the library earlier today! And those broken words of trust and friendship and status that had cropped up few days ago when she visited him at his home! 

As she kept thinking about all this, Rehan broke the awkward silence that they had! As his work place had arrived and he wasn't sure to talk about anything what happened! But was worried about Natasha's questions and the answers he had to give her…Moreover it was dark and the route that led to her house wasn't safe.. So he called her a cab from his phone so he could keep a track! 

Kissed her on the head and hugged her and asked her to text or call him once she reached home… As she nodded and sat in the cab.. Before it took off she reminded him of tomorrow being a Sunday as well as friendship day! 

He acknowledged it as he had as usual forgot about it! And had planned for a day off with her for the entire day! 😅 
As they saw each other off and Rehan entered his part time work place! 

While Natasha thought about the events that had happened today, and was looking for an opportunity to ask him about it what had happened in that trip! And tomorrow was the perfect day to ask… While Rehan thought about Natasha not asking about today what happened with Maya and Raima! But didn't bother too much about it.. As it was spur of the moment decision not caring about the consequences or reactions that both the parties would endure about it! 

On the other side Maya thought about the same thing! And had plans with Raima for friendship day as she reached home, so did Natasha and Called Rehan informing him about reaching home safely!!
