Irreplaceable Friendship !

*Present day*

As the old pals catched up with their long and never ending talks…Riya came from behind and hugged Natasha holding her from her neck… 

She knew that was Riya..Yet acted like she didn't know who that was… 

N:Rehan ye kon hai? Giving him a playful smile she asked

R: muje nai pata.. 😅 Must be your imagination as I don't see anyone here...giving her back a stern yet a smirk

Knowing that Riya was about to burst out with annoyance.. They still played along till the time she spoke up about her presence… 

R: yeah yeah.. Why would you recognize me? Aapko toh Sirf do hi log yaad hogye yaha… ek toh baba and dursa apka best friend Mr Rehan Banerjee.. Baki sab toh secondary hai… 

Making a frowny face she left her grip from Natasha's neck and sat on the couch behind them… 

While Rehan and Natasha looked at each other and giggled… As they knew Riya and her anger that only last for few seconds.. Until she hears "gifts". 

N: Rehan I guess the gift that brought for Riya I should just give it away to the next door girl.. As she is busy frowning at us and.. Probably angry at us.. Hain na? 🤔 😉

R: yeah.. Waise bhi you are my best friend na.. Tu toh muje mil aai thi and baba.. Riya is secondary as she just reminded us… 😅 

Riya from corner of her eyes looked at them with irritating look… But wanted to what the gift was! So she turned towards them…Giving her pouty look which melts everyone… Filled with innocence she asked them.. With some tear drops in her.. As she was about to cry any moment!

Looking at that Rehan and Natasha knew that not to pull their prank anymore.. As Riya is an emotional girl especially who and what belongs to her she doesn't share with anyone… 

As they got up and Natasha went and hugged Riya and wiped her tears and yelled at Rehan for playing that cruel prank on Riya.. Knowing that she was the one who started the prank in the first place… 😬

N: didn't I tell you not to make her cry.. But you seemed never to understand and learn that, do you? 

(holding Riya close to her and resting her chin on Riyas head) 

While Rehan knew that all the blame of the prank would always come on him.. Like always! 

R: "Really", he quizzed at Natasha! 

While she smiled and winked at him… and he knew that he won't be able to win this game.. Hence he gave in! 

R: ok, fine! You win… And hugged Riya along with natasha… 

While Riya asked for her gift with innocence yet the mischief in her eyes was evident… 

Natasha gave her a bag of gifts that she had been collecting for her… before Rehan could ask she said…, "I had been collecting them from the time I left you guys.and I have missed out a lot of her birthdays also.. So I had to make it up to her! Itna to karne de muje Mr rude Banerjee…" 

R: mein kuch nahi bola, moti.. But so many gifts will spoil her and you don't spoil my jaan! Samjhi!! 

N:thik hai nai karungi…. (she had a smile in her eyes which told him another story itself) 

Bas tere samne nai karungi… And waise bhi wo meri bhi kuch lagti hai 💁🏻‍♀️

Giving his satisfactory smile he rolled his eyes and turned around! While Jaan was busy opening her gifts, Natasha could sense something was wrong with him… 

She wanted to ask him directly, but it wasn't the proper time to ask him… Knowing him well, who would suffer alone but never show or speak it in front of anyone, even her!

It was way too late for Natasha, when her phone rang and she knew her mother was waiting for her! She quickly realized and got up and greeted baba and Jaan! When she left the room, she saw Rehan waiting for her outside the door, hugged her and kissed her on her forehead! 

R: bahut miss kiya mene tuje moti… Kal milte hai college mein! 

N: mene bhi tumhe miss kiya, it's just that you never replied to any of my emails or texts back! Mr rude and busy bee! Haan Kal milte hai… 

As she left, he yelled from back! 

"Kal late maat hona like always!"

"Haan Haan Mr punctual! Just mujhe call Kar Dena mujhe!" while she smiled and ran down the stairs.

Ps Ps. Hope you all are doing well in this year of a lot of drama that's going on around the world please stay safe and indoors! Knowing that the time is hard and dangerous around everyone... All I can say, this shall pass soon and we'll make it happen with a positive smile and outlook!
