The cast and I are currently sitting in the cafeteria waiting to finish recording the songs. Once the songs are recorded, we can start filming the show.
"We're ready for Kensie and Josh!" Tim yells standing at the doorway of the recording studio room.
Josh and I look at each other before we get up. When I'm walking towards him Sofia gets up and runs to my side.
"Remember what I said earlier!" She whispers in my ear before she runs back to her seat.
I start smiling and walk over to Josh and Tim. We walk in the room and go into the sound booth. We put the headphones on and wait for the music to start.
"Are you guys okay?" Tim asks us.
I see Josh look at me in my peripheral vision before I answer.
"Yeah we're fine!" I say smiling without looking over at Josh.
"Okay, just checking." Tim says.
I hear the music start playing in the headphones, I start singing my verse.
We both finish the song and take our headphones off. I start walking towards the door to go back to the cast until Josh stops me.
"Can we talk?" He asks me.
"Not right now. I mean you're the one that said you need time to think if you want to be just friends." I say.
I walk to the door and go back into the cafeteria, I walk over to sit with everybody again. It's currently 6:00pm.
Tim comes into the cafeteria and starts talking.
"Okay guys, we're done recording songs for today. Tomorrow we're going to start filming but you don't have to be here until 3:00." Tim says.
"Yes! Thank you! I can finally sleep in!" Matt shouts as he gets up and starts jumping up and down.
Everyone starts laughing at him until he sits back down in his seat.
"We should have like a karaoke night tonight!" Matt suggests.
"Where?" Sofia asks.
"I don't know." Matt says.
"We can do it at my apartment!" I say.
"Okay! We'll just order a pizza for dinner." Matt says.
"Hey! We're having a karaoke night at Kensie and Lauren's, are you guys coming?" Matt yells to Josh and Olivia.
They look at each other before Olivia speaks.
"We can't tonight, we're going on a date!" Olivia says smiling.
I look at Josh and see him looking at me. I turn away from him and look at Matt again.
"That sucks. We'll still have fun though!" Matt says looking at the rest of us.
Later That Night:
It's almost time for everybody to come over for the karaoke night. I already ordered the pizza, I just need to go get some ice from downstairs for drinks.
I slide my feet into my shoes and walk into the hallway.
Once I'm in the hallway, I hear another door close. I look over and see Josh. He's dressed up, he looks really nice. We make eye contact until I look away and walk towards the elevator.
"Where are you going?" He asks walking up next to me.
I look at him confusedly before I answer his question.
"I'm going to get ice for the party." I say pressing the downstairs button.
"Ohhhhhh" He says looking at me.
"Where are you going?" I ask him.
"Oh, Olivia and I are going to Fleming's Prime Steakhouse." He answers.
"Oh fancy, you look nice!" I say looking at him.
"Thanks!" He says looking into my eyes.
The elevator dings, I walk in and press the main floor button.
I thought I heard Josh say "Good talk" before the doors close, but it was probably my imagination.
Once I get to the main floor, I get out and walk towards the ice machine. I get a lot of ice since we're probably going to get really thirsty from all the singing.
I get all the ice I need and walk to the elevator again, it takes me up to the third floor. I get out and see Josh and Olivia walking towards the elevator. They look at me, Olivia smiles at me while Josh just stares at me.
I get back to mine and Lauren's apartment door and knock on the door since Lauren's inside.
While I wait for her to come open the door, I turn to look at Josh again, and see him still staring at me. I hear the elevator ding and Olivia grabs his hand and pulls him into the elevator.
