Joshua's POV:

I can't believe this. Kensie and Lauren's here? I can't believe I left them without saying anything.

I've regretted that mistake ever since it happened. I should've told them. Especially Kensie, she's known me my whole life. She deserved to know.

"Let's get this party started!" Matt shouts.

We all start laughing at him and I turn to my right and see Kensie laughing while looking at me.

Kensie has the perfect smile. Her smile always lights up any room.

We walk outside of the complex and decide the girls will ride together in Lauren's car, and the boys will ride together in Matt's car.

Matt gets in the driver seat and I get in the passenger seat while the other guys get in the back.

"So what's up with you and Kensie?" Matt asks while backing up the car.

"Nothing's up. We just haven't talked in a year, that's all." I say.

Which that was a lie. The night before I left, Kensie and I kissed. It wasn't an accident at all. We both wanted to do it, but I ruined everything by leaving the next day without telling her.

"Whatever you say." Matt says.

"There's definitely something up with you two." Frankie says.

"We've known each other our whole lives. We're just friends." I say.

Olivia was right because it only took four minutes to get to the bowling alley.

We see the girls pull up beside us, and I see Kensie get out of the passenger seat laughing at something Dara said.

I've honestly missed her so much.

Kensie's POV:

We get to the bowling alley and Lauren parks right beside Matt's car.

"I bet this place is haunted." Dara says.

The whole ride Dara was talking about how she can tell when places are haunted.

I started laughing at her while getting out of the car. I look over to Matt's car and see Josh laughing with Matt.

He looks over at me smiling. I give him a small smile back and turn away.

Everyone walks inside and goes to the front desk so we can get bowling shoes.

"Hey! They have karaoke over there, we should do that later!" Larry says.

"We're definitely doing that later." Joe says.

Once everyone gets their correct shoe size, we walk over to some benches to put them on.

Joshua walks over and sits right next to me.

"Sooo, how have you been?" He asks me.

"Like I said earlier, I'm great!" I say looking at him.

"How was Senior year?" He asks.

"It was fine." I say.

"That's good. Are you dating anyone?" He asks me.

"Uhm no." I say.

"Are you?" I ask him, nervous about his answer.

"No." He says looking at me.

We look at each other until Lauren comes to get us.

"Come on guys! We're doing boys versus girls." Lauren says pulling me up.

We walk over to the girls and get ready for the competition.

Twenty minutes into bowling, the girls are winning by two points.

Matt gets up to play his turn. He picks up a ball and rolls it.

We all watch the ball closely and see it knock down all the pins.

"We're only loosing by one point now!" Larry says.

"And I'm going to change that." Sofia says while getting up.

She picks up a purple ball and rolls it. We watch the ball, and knocks down none of the pins.

"Are you serious?" Sofia asks annoyed.

We all laugh at her while she walks back over.

Frankie gets up for his turn. His ball hits all the pins over.

"Ha! We're tied!" He shouts while people around us start looking.

"Okay Kens! You got this! This is our last chance!" Dara shouts.

I get up laughing at her. I grab the light pink ball and roll it. My ball hits eight of the pins.

I turn around and roll my eyes.

"See it's annoying! I bet this is rigged!" Sofia shouts while standing up.

"Sofia shut up! You just suck at bowling!" Matt says.

Sofia looks at him with her mouth open.

Joshua gets up to play his turn. If he hits all the pins, the games over.

"You're not going to hit them!" Sofia says.

"Oh come on! I'm great at bowling, right Kensie?" He asks me.

"I mean, you're not that good." I say shrugging my shoulders.

He raises his eyebrows at me. I can tell he takes that as a challenge.

Everybody gets their phones out to record this moment.

Josh picks up a red ball and rolls it on the floor. We watch the ball, and it hits all the pins.

I stand up with wide eyes and my mouth open. I honestly didn't think he was that good.

Josh spins around and points at me smiling.

"I told you I'm great!" He says.

"Yeah, yeah." I say shaking my head.

We start to take our shoes off and Dara speaks up.

"Do you guys want to do karaoke for a little bit?" She asks.

We all agree. We turn in our shoes and walk over to the karaoke area.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I'm going to try and put Joshua's POV in more often, maybe even some of the other guys.
