I see Kensie and Sofia walk in the room while laughing. I love Kensie's laugh, I guess she's doing fine.
Kensie looks over at me but looks away immediately when we make eye contact. But I don't look away from her.
"Josh come sit with us!" Olivia says pulling me over to the cast.
I look over and see Kensie talking to Tim, I guess she's about to record her song. I already know recording our duet is going to be awkward.
I see Julia walk over to Kensie and Tim, Kensie looks over at me but looks away again. Olivia's talking about something, but I can't look away from Kensie.
Before Kensie goes into the room to record her song she looks back at me one more time. Once she's in the room, I pull out my phone and go on Instagram. I see Kensie posted a new picture, she looks gorgeous. I was about to comment on it, but that would be weird.
Olivia started talking about us going outside to take a picture for the start of filming so we can always remember.
Matt and I get up with her and go outside with Dara. We go in front of the school and take a picture.
Kensie's POV:
We walk into the recording room. It's a really dark room with a bunch of buttons, and a sound booth. Julia walks over and sits on one of the couches.
"Okay Kensie, you can go in when you're ready!" Tim says smiling at me.
I walk in and sit at the microphone. I put the headphones on and hear my music start coming through them, I start singing my song.
A knock comes from the door and Matt's standing there with Joe. Tim tells me to keep on singing, so I do.
I see Matt and Joe talking to Tim about something. It doesn't seem like something bad, it looks like they're asking to do something.
Once they leave Tim comes back and sits at the soundboard.
"Kensie that was amazing! Great job!" Tim says smiling at me.
I get up and walk out of the sound booth and walk over to Julia.
"You did amazing, Kensie!" She says hugging me.
"Aw thanks! I can't wait to hear your song!" I say hugging her back.
Julia lets go and walks in the sound booth and waits for Tim to tell her to start. I sit down at the couch to listen to Julia sing her song.
Joshua's POV:
"I really need some coffee." Matt says laying in the floor.
"Matt, if you are making fun of me for tripping, I swear." Frankie says with a serious face.
Why is Frankie so heated about that? Did I miss something?
"I'm not making fun of you, I just really need some coffee." Matt says while sitting up.
"Yeah, I need some too. I'm so tired!" Joe says while yawning.
"I'm going to ask Tim if we can walk to Starbucks and get coffee." Matt says getting up.
"Are you sure you should go ask right now? I mean Kensie and Julia's in there recording." I say.
"Dude. It will be fine, it won't even take that long to ask the question." Matt says walking towards the door. Joe walks over there with him, and I see Matt knock on the door.
They walk in and I can faintly hear music coming from inside. I wonder who's singing?
They come back out a couple seconds later.
"He said we can, but we have to come back." Joe says.
"Kensie's song sounds amazing!" Matt says while smiling.
I look at Matt with wide eyes. He looks over at me confused.
"Kensie's singing right now?" I ask.
"Uhm yeah, that's why she's in there." Matt says laughing.
"So who's coming with us to Starbucks?" Joe says getting up.
Matt, Joe, Dara, Frankie and Sofia decided that they were going to walk down.
"The only reason why I'm going is to get a new coffee." Frankie says getting up and putting his jacket on.
They walk out and it was just Olivia and I in the room right now.
"So are you excited for our date?" She asks while smiling at me.
"Uhm yeah, of course I am!" I say smiling back at her.
"Where are we going?" She asks.
"I thought we could go to a nice restaurant to have dinner." I say looking at her.
"Yeah that sounds good! Should I dress up?" She asks me.
"Yeah, I think it'll be a kind of fancy restaurant." I say.
"I can't wait!" She says before kissing me.
As soon as she kisses me, the door to the recording studio opens, Kensie and Julia walks out.
I pull away from Olivia and look back at them. Kensie's smiling at something Julia said.
"Hey guys, where is everyone?" Julia asks us. Kensie won't even look at us, I see Kensie walking towards the hallway.
"They went to Starbucks to get coffee." Olivia says smiling at Julia.
Julia just nods her head and walks over to one of the cast chairs. I see Kensie coming back in with a water and walking over to Julia.
Julia shows Kensie something on her phone and they start laughing together. It's like Kensie can't even look at me. This whole thing was her idea anyways so I don't know why she's acting like she's mad at me.
The rest of the cast comes back from Starbucks and Sofia immediately runs up to Kensie and sits next to her. Matt sits in the chair next to Julia, and Frankie sits next to Matt. While Joe and Dara come back and sit with Liv and me.
Kensie starts laughing at something Sofia told her and I see Frankie sarcastically laughing with them.
I miss Kensie, I don't know how we're supposed to record our song when she won't even look at me.
