Kensie's POV:
It's currently December, the show is out and everyone seems to love it. Although all the fans want Josh and Liv to date, which we all knew was going to happen. We start filming season two next month, which is exciting. Josh and I are still together, he's been really busy with his music recently so we haven't really been with each other a lot. I finally got a manager, I thought it was for the best to get one. This morning I got a phone call from Ariel, my manager that she needs to talk to me.
I walk into the living room in mine and Lauren's apartment and see her sitting on the couch watching Friends.
"I'm leaving now." I say while picking up my purse.
"Okay, let me know what she says." Lauren says.
"Okay." I say while walking out the door. I walk to Lauren's car and get in.
I drive to the building where my management is, when I pull in I see a familiar car but I'm not sure why he would be here.
I walk inside and go to Ariel's office and see Josh and a man sitting there. When I walk in they all turn to look at me, the room feels really tense.
"Kensie! Please take a seat!" Ariel says.
I walk over and sit in the chair across from Josh. He looks at me but he doesn't smile, he looks sad and angry at the same time.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"Well, we need to talk to you and Josh. You guys are dating, right?" Ariel asks.
"Yeah." I say.
"Well we have some bad news, we need you guys to break up." The man says.
"Mark! That's not the right way to put this situation." Ariel says to the man sitting next to Josh.
"Why do we have to break up?" Josh asks angrily.
"Well, you don't have to break up. You two could be in a secret relationship, but no one can know about it. But there is something you two need to do, you're going to have to be seen with other people." Ariel says.
"You mean fake date other people?" Josh asks.
"Yes." Mark says.
"Why do we have to do this?" I ask.
"Because we think the show will do better if you guys aren't together. Of course a lot of people don't know you're dating, but fans have been speculating and they're not happy with the thought of you two dating." Ariel says.
"So you're forcing us to break up because of other peoples opinions?" Josh asks.
"Like I said, you don't have to break up but no one can know about you two. But you're still going to have to be seen with other people. It's up to you two if you want to actually break up or stay secretly together. You two can still be friends, but no holding hands or kissing or flirting with each other in public." Ariel says.
I look over at Josh and see him looking at me. I know what he wants to do, but I don't want to let him go. I've waited for years to date him, and I finally get him and I have to decide to break up with him or be with him secretly?
"What if we try being secret for a while?" Josh asks.
"You can. But if we see you two being flirty with each other in public, we're stopping you guys and you'll have to break up." Mark says.
"So if we be secret, we still have to go out with other people?" I ask.
"Yes, plus it will get your names out there more." Ariel says.
