Roommates

Y/n POV:

We walk into the hotel and we get greeted by Jill. "Hey girls. How was the journey?" She asks. "It was good thanks coach." Chris answers. I nod my head. "Okay well Chris you, Tobin and Alex." "Thanks coach." Tobin says whilst grabbing the key card for the room. "And y/n you will be rooming with Kelley, Ash and Ali." I nod my head. "Coach that means that there will be 4 annoying people in there making a lot of noise." Kelley says laughing a bit. Coach smiles. "Just try and keep it down a bit Ash and Ali are already in there." We laugh and start heading to the room. Kelley knocks on the door. "Squirrel!" Ash screams and tackles Kelley. I laugh and then look at Ali. "Hey y/n I'm glad you came." She says and then pulls me in for a hug. "Nice to see you again dude." Ash says fist pumping me. I sit down on my bed and start to unpack. I get to my gaming equipment. "Yo is anyone using this plug?" I ask. Everyone shakes their head. I then get my computer screen out and PS4. I link it all up and turn it all on. "Oh fuck." I say out loud. "Language!" I hear Ali say. "What's up.. Holy shit!" Ash says noticing my set up. "What did I just say babe!" Ali says then stepping into my area. "What is that?" Ali asks. "It's my gaming set up me and my mate from school game all the time and she wants to make sure I am okay and so we will be gaming a lot. Is that okay?" "Yeah that's fine I just know nothing about electronics." I laugh. "Yo Ash can you pass me that cord right there." I say pointing to the ethernet cable. "Yeah sure." She says whilst grabbing it and chucking it at me. I mess around a bit with the cable. "Yes!" I shout after about 10 minutes. "What did you just do?" Kelley asks.  "I got internet baby!" I scream still being happy about it. "Okay are you going to game?" "Yeah just for a bit is that okay?" "Yeah it's fine just remember that we have a team meeting soon." Ali responds. I plug in my headset. I get a party invite from Dixie. "Dix!" I shout. "Y/n/n! How's the hotel." "Sick mate I'm rooming with amazing people too." "Ooo who are you with?" "Ali Kreiger, Ashlyn Harris and Kelley O'hara." "Aw that's good. How are you doing?" "I'm a bit nervous." I confess. "Just don't do anything dumb please. Bambi is so worried." I sigh. "I know Dix." "Anyway no sadness. What we playing." "Fifa to get me in the mood and then we can play Minecraft or Apex if you want?" "Sounds like a plan bro." "Are you on with y/n/n?" I hear Chloe shout in the background. "Yep! She's still alive kids." Dix says laughing. "Hey y/n/n!" She screams into the mic. "Yo Jesus coco you don't have to scream it." I say laughing. 

Ash's POV:

I already like this kid. She seems like she is having fun with her mates. "Where the fuck did that lifeline come from!" She shouts. I have no clue what she is talking about but it's funny to listen to. "Yo hit the res. Never mind. Never mind. Behind, west! Boom baby get out of our lobby!" She screams. "Wow she is very passionate about that." Kelley says laughing. I nod my head. "Ayy Dix imma head off after this match." She says. I look at the time. "At least she is sensible we have the meeting in about 15 minutes." I tell Kelley. She nods her head. "Shit! Loba, side!" I hear her shout. "Shield off, grenade out. And that did nothing okay game. Yo hit with the EVA-8. Teammate to the side. How the fuck did you get knocked." "Do you have any fucking clue what she is saying?" Ali asks laughing. "Not a single clue babe." I say also laughing. "What is this hit box! Oh somehow the mozambique does more damage than an R-99! This game is bullshit!" I hear her slam the desk. I go through. "Yo you okay?" I ask seeing her annoyed. She nods her head. "Okay Dix. Imma head out. Okay. Tell them I love them too. Love ya. In a bit." She says and then I guess she leaves the chat. She get's up. "Sorry if I am a bit loud. I get very passionate." She says laughing a bit. "What did any of that mean?" Ali asks. "If you want we can play together tonight because I have another controller." She suggests. "Yeah that's sounds like a good idea." Kelley says. "Alright well let's head to the meeting room." I say. "You ready to meet this crazy team?" "Kinda. I'm a bit nervous." "Aw you will be fine kiddo. Come on." We start heading down and I see y/n get more and more scared. Her breathing starts to pick up. "Hey your okay." She looks at me with fear in her eyes. I hug her tightly as she tries to fight my hug. I whisper in her ear. "Your safe. Your going to be okay." She slowly starts to calm down. "You okay?" I ask. She just nods her head. I grab her hand and walk in. Jill starts talking about some friendly games and tactics. After a while she calls up y/n. 

Y/n POV:
I walk up to the front of the room when Jill calls me. "Hi I'm y/n. You guys can just call me y/n/n or my last name which is y/l/n. I play striker. I am a UNC student. And I love to game and play football/soccer." "Any questions. Not to many though cause you guys have team meeting tonight where you can get to know her better." Jill says. "How old are you?" Julie asks. "I'm 18 turning 19 this year." "Sexuality!?" I hear Pinoe shout. "Really Pinoe?" Alex says laughing. "What it is a very important question." Pinoe says trying to back herself up. "I'm questioning." I state really not sure. "Good enough for me. Welcome to the gay club!" She shouts and we all laugh. "Who is your idol?" "In football it is Tobin and Chris." They cheer. "Wait that makes me feel old." Tobin says laughing. "Wait in just football?" "Yeah I play basketball to." "Who's your idol in basketball then." "Sue Bird." "That's my girl!" Pinoe shouts and we all laugh. "I also really like Breanna Stewart." "I guess you like Seattle." I nod my head. "I can arrange you to meet Sue and Breanna if you want." Pinoe says. I freeze . "You broke her." Ash says laughing. "I would love that." "Okay well I will arrange that at some point." I smile. "One last question." Mal says. "Yep." "Best team?" I don't want to start controversy so I dodge the question a bit. "Arsenal Women's." I say. "You know that's not what I meant." Mal says pouting. "You didn't say it had to be in the NWSL." "Okay who is the best team in the NWSL?" She asks again. "Nope you said one last question." She glares at me and jokingly says. "I already don't like you." I laugh and sit back down. Jill talks for a bit more and then we head off. "Where do you guys wanna go to dinner?" Carli asks. "I saw an Italian place down the road." Alex says. "Sounds good." Most of us say. "Get ready then girls." Carli shouts and we head back up to the rooms. As I'm walking I feel someone hit me. I turn around to see Lindsey Horan. "Welcome to the team." She says with a smile. "Thank you." I say. Wow she is really pretty. I get into my room. "Okay I am helping you get ready." Ash says. "Oh god help you." Kelley says giggling. I already like it here...
