Delilah's POV

My life has been a real mess lately. My boyfriend dumped for some other bimbo he met four months ago. I was really hurt because I actually thought he loved me. But then I met Colton. At first I thought he was a dick when I met him, probably cause I was a little heartbroken, but then I don't know why but I felt like I could trust him even though I knew I wasn't going to see him again. Or so I thought.

When I saw him at my coffee place something inside me sparked. I was actually pretty excited when I saw him again and learned a lot of things about him. I learned that he's childhood friends with Tyler and that they work together in something for a family company.

Finally, my best friend Layka is changing. Every since she met Tyler she's been a stronger girl and it hurts to say it but they make a great couple and it's gonna be hard for anybody to separate them. Aaron still likes her but Layka doesn't even bat an eye in his direction. He has asked me to help him win her again but the way her relationship with Tyler is going I don't even think my help is going to win her over.

Right now I was cleaning the countertop of a table thinking about Colton. He's so sweet to me and I don't think even Chris made me feel this jumpy when I first met him. I feel like I'm back in high school. I was knocked out of my daydream when I heard Layka.

"Del call Tyler." She was sitting down in a chair near a window. She had her eyes shut and she was breathing deeply.

I started walking up to her,"Why? Are you okay?"

"Just call him. Please."

I stopped mid-step and hurried behind the counter. I grabbed the telephone and searched for his number on my phonebook. I pushed the numbers on the telephone and waited for Tyler to answer.

"Hello, Tyler here."

I sighed in relief,"Oh thank god. Tyler you have to get down here."

"Why what's wrong?"

I glanced at Layka,"It's Layka. I don't know what's wrong with her. She asked me to call you."

Just when Tyler was about to speak I heard a snap. I looked at Layka once again and she had a piece of my chair in her hand. Pieces were crumbling down and now I was worried.

"Tyler just hurry."

I hung up and made my way to Layka but before I could even take a step she ran to the restroom at an abnormal speed. My eyes widened, how did she do that? I quickly ran behind the restroom door and banged it.

"Layka are you okay? I'm really worried. I just called Tyler and he said he'd be on his way."

"Go away." Now I started to worry. My best friend didn't sound like herself. Her voice sounded more like a growl.

Just when I was about to call Tyler again I heard the ring of the door. Tyler came in with a worried expression on his face and Colton was right behind him.

"Where is she?"

I pointed towards the door and he nodded. They went to the bathroom door and with one swift move they busted the door open. My breath hitched as I saw the person before me.

Layka instead of having her beautiful green eyes, she had pitch black orbs. Her teeth were longer than usual and she had claws that looked really sharp. Colton grabbed me by the arm and dragged me away.

He took me outside and I appreciated that. I took a few deep breaths and ran my hand through my hair. I glanced at Colton and he looked uneasy. He knew something that I didn't know.

"Colton, I know you know what happened to Layka so you better spill now."

He gulped,"I know what I'm about to tell you might sound crazy but you have to believe me."

"Just tell me," I yelled getting the attention of a few bystanders.

"Um, Layka acted like that because she... because she's a werewolf."

I furrowed my eyebrows,"What are you talking about?"

"Layka along with Tyler and myself, we're werewolves. I know this might sound stupid but we are."

I laughed. Okay this must be a some sick joke they decided to play on me. Colton looked at me like I was crazy but he's the crazy one thinking he's a werewolf.

"Okay yes Colton. You're a werewolf and so is Tyler and Layka. Just as the fact that pigs can fly and trees can talk."

He frowned,"You don't believe me do you?"

I chuckled dryly,"What do you want me to believe? Of course I don't believe you! Werewolves, really?"

His frown deepened even more,"I'm not lying and I can prove it."

I raised a brow,"Oh really?"

He looked around,"But not here. It's too public."

He grabbed my hand and dragged me to a valley close to the coffee place. I felt sparks go up my arm from how he was touching me but I ignored them. Once we were deep on the valley he did the one thing I didn't expect him to do.

He was taking his clothes of right in front of me. But I must admit Colton was really well built with six pack and everything. My eyes widened when he started undoing his pants. I turned around and covered my eyes.

I have never seen any man, not even Chris, naked. I always told Chris that we would only have sex on our wedding night and that I'd prefer to wait but I guess that's not gonna happen anymore. No wonder he dumped me. But now that Colton is getting naked behind me is a weird thing. How is that gonna prove he's a werewolf?

"Delilah, in order for me to prove that I am a werewolf I had to take off my clothes. No matter how uncomfortable you are you have to look at me."

I turned around and saw him. I tried really hard not to look at a certain area of him and concentrated at his suppose evidence that he's a werewolf. He got on all fours and then I heard a loud growl come from his direction. He lifted his head up a little and his eyes weren't blue anymore but black, just like Layka when I saw her in the restroom. His hands then turned into paws with brown fur and I swear I think I'm losing my head.

Just before my eyes was a huge wolf the size of a freaking horse. It had those familiar blue eyes that remind me of Colton. That's when I realized that I wasn't crazy and that the wolf standing in front of me is really Colton. That means that Tyler and Layka are werewolves as well.

I felt my chest tighten. How is that possible? Layka and I have always been friends and she would've told me if she was. My breathing was coming out short and my vision started to blur. This has to be a dream. I stumbled back a little and then felt a pair of strong arms grab a hold of my waist. I then lost all consciousness.
