Layka's POV

I felt cold. The heat from my body was slowly coming back but it felt stronger, more sharper. The blood through my veins was running with a burning sensation. I snapped my eyes open and everything around me seemed more clearer than before.

I shot up feeling breathless. I was in Tyler's room. I looked down at what I was wearing and it was a dress that stopped mid-thigh. It was navy blue that hugged my body. I got up from bed to look at myself in the full length mirror.

I looked totally different, like I wasn't even myself. Instead of having brown hair, it was pitch black. I looked at my body and it was nothing to what it was back then. I had curves both in the back and the front. Everything about me seemed different.

I had to get the hell out of here. I saw the glass wall and smashed it with my fist. To my surprised, it fell into pieces and it didn't hurt. I got out and started running.

I was running with such adrenaline and agility, that it surprised me. I didn't know where to go, so I decided to go to the one place I never thought I'd go again. My grandmother's house.

I always thought my grandmother knew something about our family but my dad always avoided her. She was mysterious in a way and I knew she knew something about what is going on with me.

It didn't take long before I arrived at her door step. I rang the door bell once and it took only seconds before my grandmother opened the door.

"Layka. What are you doing here?"

"I came to know about I have turned into."

Her face fell and I walked in her house. She was really old but she still found a way to live by herself. My grandmother never got married, so she passed down her last name to my dad: Altidore.

"Sit grandma because this is very important."

"What do you want to know?"

"I want to know why I keep having visions. Why I got bit by a bloody wolf and died but came back to life."

She seemed shocked at first but recomposed herself quickly. I knew she was hiding something but I don't know if she'll keep it any longer.

"We are known in the supernatural world as a family of decedent witches. My great, great, great grandmother was a pure witch who was known to make any man crazy for her until one day she fell in love with a werewolf. They had a baby but he left her after he found his mate. She was so heart broken that she went crazy. Her son soon got married with a human but every time the baby girl would be born she would grow up, have a baby, and never get married," she sighed defeatedly," it wasn't until Richard was born that this curse was stopped. I'm a witch Layka, and so are you. I have taken control over my powers but you seem different."

So I was decedent of a witch family that never had married women. I was a witch as well and that explains why I had visions. Now I'm still confused about why I'm still alive. Liam bit me which caused my death but I'm still here.

"Grandma, how is it that I'm alive? I mean, I got bit by a wolf and then died. Now I'm sitting here like nothing happened."

She slightly smiled," You see, that wolf that bit you wasn't smart. He didn't smell your witch blood, which caused him to think you would die but you didn't. Instead, your witch blood mixed with the wolf venom and brought you back to life as a Witch-werewolf."

I was confused,"Wait, so your saying that I' a witch but I'm also a werewolf. This doesn't make any sense."

"Your here so it has to make sense."
